if you're gonna go for it you might as well go for it: The Double Chateau - a bottle of chateauneuf du pape and a chateaubriand steak for two. Bean and/or green salad to start
the salmon ; the beets . all delicious, big portions too. great for a fancy , special occasion dinner .
Chefs/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood in 2002. Features daily "Plats du Jour ," local seafood and produce, and desserts . Notable for the calamari salad and the famous Pineapple Tart Tatin .
Go here. This is my favorite restaurant on Shelter Island. Chef proprietors led the kitchen at Sunset Beach for a few seasons before starting VSC.
Perciatelli Ragu is seriously one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had.
Food and bar scene. Can get a little crazy, but in a fun way

Sorry to say but totally mediocre and overpriced. They mean well but the pastas were mushy and the bolognese was nothing special. Not worth the $30 entree prices. Calamari was pretty good, though.
