Lord Burlington built a grand Palladian villa here with sculpture , gardens and a dome modelled on those of Imperial Rome. He also displayed treasures collected on his ‘Grand Tour ’ of classical Europe.
Walled gardens have been on this site since the late 1600s but the once grand kitchen garden lay neglected from the 1920s until it was rediscovered a few years ago. Read more

Outside the rear of main house, too the side of a Spihnx, you will find one of the best climbing trees in the world. Fantastic place for families.

There's a great jogging route that circumnavigates the House - check out the small maps off Burlington Ave.
This is my morning 'commute' route , so I'm lucky, but a walk through in either the summer or winter is great.
Play area is next to the modern cafe , great to watch the kids whilst enjoying a nice meal
