One of the best Korean BBQ spots in the area. They use real coals, which I think enhances the flavor. Definitely will come back. Also, the spicy pork is actually... really spicy .
This is a great find on a busy street of Korean BBQ spot. Sure, it's busy and there was a bit of a wait, but once we sat our food flowed and we really enjoyed it. The ban chan and meat were great!
For newbies to Korean food order Snow Flake Dueng Shim for a classic light beef dish that comes with complimentary picked sides + the adventurous will enjoy the Duen Jang Jee Gae - a curry miso soup
I'm not an expert on Korean Bbq but I must say it was excellent. It's our Second time here and I wouldn't try another spot to try to compare. Tried a little bit of everything and it was all great.
The wood charcoal used to power the grill at every table makes all the difference, imbuing meat with a smoky flavor . Emerge from New Wonjo perfumed by the smoke and beef fat and leave fully satisfied. Read more
The bulgogi is great here. Like many Korean restaurants , they bring out plenty of small dishes that serve as appetizers before the main meal. One dish is enough to split between two people here!
I should have checked pictures before ordering - bibimbap comes with 10 side dishes!! And complimentary fluffy egg . And melon as dessert . Try also Michelin recommended dumplings
Competitive street here in K-Town; a worthy competitor. 6 plates of banchan + salad . Tasty sushi . Gobdol bibimbap on point. Nice sake & soju list.
LS1 Galbi Bento Box is very filling. It comes with salad with ginger dressing , house soup , two pieces of California roll , a side of jap Chae and of course Galbi (short ribs ). The order came out fast.
Good basic Korean, flavours could have been more punchy but great menu range. Had the beef bibimbab , short rib soup and seafood pancake . All were tasty.
Food is really good. Very clean . Learn to play Pok-tang (Poke Ta) Ask the staff to show you. Great for groups and open until 4am!
Near empire state building. İts a korean barbecue restaurant . Meat, shripms and all other dishes are extremely delicious. Must try here at least one night
Delicious! We got the meat mania platter, the fried dumplings , and the kimchi pancake . Everything food was fantastic! The dumpling sauce was the best.
It was definitely better than most other kbbq spots... combo meat meals are on point (4+ kinds of meat for great price) and very filling!!! Staff was slow to fill water cups/take drink orders
Mool neng myun is this delicious cold noodle soup , it's definitely a vinegar base and delicious! Also beef number 3. Recommend for sure
There is something on this menu called Meat Mania . It is many meats. It is amazing. You're here with a big group so get it. And if you are real maniacs, get two.
The second floor with the charcoal-powered grills is a must. Be prepared to wait and come hungry. Those meat plates are better eaten there than an at home the next day.
Ju Mu Luk is the yummiest marinated short ribs KBBQ I've ever had! Best to sit upstairs during evening time since they don't always open the coal grill during the day. Open 24 hours .
A massive helping of Kamjatang Stew is sure to soothe your post-drinking pains. The combination of the spice and flame will perk you back up in no time. Read more
My favorite Korean BBQ spot in manhattan. Galbi and spicy pork belly are best. Lunch is ok, but they really shine at dinner . Service is usually good.
The premium short rib was one of the best meats I’ve had at a KBBQ. Charcoal makes a difference too.
Cold buckwheat noodles weren't just cold, they're actually on ice. Definitely unexpected. Bibimbap and veggie dumplings were well above average though. And the free k-BBQ appetizers were great!
this place supposedly is a top favorite but for me it was just ok, had the kimchi bibim bop as an entree and I didn't really like it, the grill part was awesome though especially the pork belly
No reservations for parties of less than 4 ppl. It's really busy on weekends so prepare for a wait. The marinated meat dinner special for 3 ppl is fine for 2 hungry ppl. I know first-hand. Delicious.
The wait time for BBQ runs upto 20-25 mins, so make ur reservations . The service is not the best but the spicy pork BBQ is to die for! And don't forget to eat it the Korean way... !
In heart of NYC's Koreatown. First Korean BBQ experience. Loved it! Food was good, service was quick but didn't feel rushed. Will come again. .
If you don't get bbq the line is usually shorter for the downstairs area. Get a few dishes including the budae jigae to split with friends!
Great for taking visitors in town and for groups of 6 or less. They are experts at using tongs (transporting hot coals ), which is quite entertaining!
Great lunch specials including naeng myun (both broth based and spicy ) and seaweed soup with tons of mussels . Super Korean!
open 24/7!! the meat mania is pretty good. (nice variety) their ban chan(side dishes) r not bad ;) bulgogi dolsot bibimbop is also yummy.
Really excellent authentic Korean food . The bibimbap was delish and they give out a whole assortment of yummy side dishes.
If u have more than 2 people, it's great to just get a full course meal for everyone... it was enough to feed four of us. Expect to partially cook your own food on the grill tho. It gets busy there.
Best KBBQ because they use wood chips vs a gas grill like other places. Wear layers, it gets warm! Expect a wait no matter what.
Great home style Korean for those days you need comfort food . Get the haemul (seafood ) pancake , you won't regret it.
Best Korean now in the city the bulgogi bbq is terrific same with kimchee pancakes and bimibop is awesome
I tried a few in pursuit of best Korean bbq , and this one, although not without its faults, is the best. Plus real coals!
Great service, meat plate is amazing, each meat is super tender and delicious, no dessert option
Superb bbq and bibimbap , I wish we had at least nearly as good korean places in europe, too.
Come as early as 5:30 for dinner to avoid the long queue. They have the best Korean bbq bulgogi I've ever had.
Great Korean BBQ with real coals. We got the mega meat special, which was plenty of food for four.
The lunch pork with special kimchi was hot and delicious
Out of all places in nyc for Korean BBQ , New Wonjo is one of my favorites Asian cuisine .
Excellent service , unlimited korean style kimchi appetizer ! Try the spicy tofu stew (soodubu chigae) and the stone bowl beef bibimbop !! It is soooooo good!
Dont leave without trying the kimchi pancakes and bibimbap !!
Abalone porridge is sharable with up to 3 people as its portion is really big.
Best spot for Korean food these days. I like the BBQ and the buddae jjigae for one.
Amazing Korean BBQ . If you're there on a Friday, go upstairs to the top floor for live jazz followed by karaoke .
Spicy pork is amazing.
In my opinion, the best BBQ in Korea Town . Get the Meat Mania combo - it serves more than 3 and the steak is super tender
Great side dishes and I love their morning specials. Great soft tofu soup and many other dishes.
I highly recommend it to Koreans. It's more delicious than soft tofu stew in Korea. - Jenny Jeong
The Banchan (반찬), (amuse bouche) is plentiful. Aside from the meat dishes, try the Dolsot-bibimbap with eel and Kimchi Pajeon, traditional Korean pancakes. Check out our slide show link. - Find. Eat. Drink.
Order their budae jjigae, their “army stew” soup with kimchi, sausage, ham, Berkshire pork belly, bacon, tofu, tteok (rice cake) & ramen . - Kimmie Ohh
The mango tango though it is $12 was delicious Try the milk bun (soft with cream inside) or the green tea bun. Simply delectable ! My daughter lived the orange lemonade. - N K
The staff here is so friendly! And they keep the place very clean. A great addition to the street. Only downside is that there's no wifi. - Kaye Yoon
good prices. gorgeous produce. frozen dumplings. massive variety of short & medium-grain brown & white rice. meats! butchered beautifully. even sliced short-ribs (against bone). spices. everything. - Danyel Smith
