One of the most beautiful rinks in the city and very family friendly ! They even offer skating lessons in the middle of the rink.

Geoffroy Bablon

Think of the ice like a great battlefield. Your not-so-sure-footed friends are dropping all around you, and all you can do is keep your cool and zig-zag around them, hoping you won't be next!

Cole Kennedy

Fun to break out the skates and do a few laps under the Christmas lights and impressive Bank of America Tower. Be warned: almost as crowded as Times Square.

Ice skating at Bryant Park is a seasonal must! The rink is well lit & inviting so, there isn't really any good reason not to get on the ice! Grab a hot chocolate at 'The Lodge ' & soak up the festivity

Jwow

In these freezing temperatures, you can find beauty at the fountain . Be sure to make a visit before things warm up!

Since Nov. 1st is the unofficial start to the Christmas season it's only fitting to visit the wonderful Winter Village in Bryant Park . From skating to shopping there's something for everyone here

Lane Rettig

Often long lines but it moved quickly. The rink is super crowded in the evening. Come in the morning for more space.

Ceres AnaSéline C.

Free admission , but so crowded on weekends, it's difficult to even skate . Try going on a Monday or Wednesday for more space, especially if you want to teach someone else to skate !

Harumi U

Free skating (need to rent shoes if you don't own a pair), holiday shops and pretty Christmas tree . Bundle up and enjoy some time out here.

Elisa

If you need to rent anything, use a BofA card and get 20% off your purchase. The rink gets crowded especially right after it's cleaned , but slowly starts to even out.

Not as big a rink as Wollman, and the views while terrific are not as great. The skating however is free (skate rentals are extra), and before 9:30 the weekend crowds aren't bad.

Kaoru Odamaki

If you want to skate comfortably, You should go to there in the morning. This rink is very crowded in afternoon.

Rich Willingham

Go in the evening. The lights are magical, and it's less crowded than Rock Center.

JP

"Free" skating that's a lot of fun. There's always too many people so be wary if you've never skated

Go early morning to walk straight onto the ice

Prices at Ice Bites are alright, and the skating experience on the rink is worth the cost (free).

BLOC Concierge

Outdoor ice skating in the Big Apple! Could it be any more nostalgic? Bring your own ice skates and lock , and its totally FREE!

Elizabeth Ollis

SKIP IT. This place is crazy (at least on a Sunday afternoon). The ice was so packed (with lots of falling children) that it was hard to enjoy/even skate ...especially if you're an experienced skater.

Michelle Elaine Weddings Inc.

Hands down one of my FAV places in NYC during the winter! FREE 100% if you own your own skates !!!

Charles Photoframd

Have fun skating or just watching. Plenty of security to keep the crowd on ice under control. Routy behavior is dealt with swiftly.

House of Bonhoeffer

Our men love to bring their skates and hit the ice here at @BryantParkNYC. If you don't own skates , rentals are available!

The rink is empty right when it opens or early in the morning. Bring a lock and your own skates and skating is free!

Ice was very wet today even though temps have been cold. I think the cooling system needs an early season tune up
