Nobis Hotel

Absolutely dripping with modern elegance. I can’t recommend staying here enough, and even if you don’t, simply stopping in to see the atrium and have a drink at the Gold Bar is worth the time.

Great boutique hotel situated in the centre, close to the central station. Great security - RFID cards unused for elevators , rooms, safe, etc. Highly recommend . Will definitely stay here again

An SPG/Bonvoy Marriot property. Excellent staff . Allowed for early check in. Wonderful in house cafe/lounge. Gym , sauna and bar , as well .

A great hotel literally in the centre of everything that is worth visiting. Staff is really friendly and service in the whole hotel is great. The lounge is breath taking.

A cloud of 25 pendants hang in the lobby, all unique. The room numbers are Portugese porcelain, each digit differs in size. The lounge ceiling is a pixilated photo of a tree grove in summer sky.

Rooms are rather small and can be dark. Nevertheless a beautiful design hotel with outstanding staff and free wifi . The lobby café is hyper cool.

Room size is big enough and its Clean . Friendly staff welcomes you with smile and helps you when needed. Wifi is fast and uninterrupted. Only breakfast has limited options. But not a big issue 8/10

Make sure to check out their lounge . It's a large atrium in the back. Order the Room 256, a delicious cocktail made with aquavit .

Don't mistake the trendy floor lamp by the bed for a bedside table . The top is gently curved, so most things placed on it will slide off and crash onto the floor at the slightest disturbance!

Take the elevator when transporting luggage, but take the spiral staircase when not... the gold-tinted mirrors on the ceiling and walls of Gold Bar found in a German warehouse will make you look good.

Nobis in "Norrmalmstorg Square " was, of course, the most expensive spot in the classic Swedish version of Monopoly. If you land here, check-in, check-it-out, and "Do Not Pass Go!"

The breakfast buffet is as good as it gets; don't miss the pancakes with blueberry jam and whipped cream .

Check out Acne Studios' flagship store next door. It used to be a bank (one of the staff rooms is behind an old vault) and "Stockholm Syndrome" comes from the hostages taken in the 1973 robbery there

Most rooms just have a shower , if you want a bath ask for one though you may lose your view over the square in the process!

Some deluxe rooms are smaller than 1 class lower rooms which look out over the inner square of the hotel . Less noise and saves some money :o)

Nice decor but all a bit impractical. Why are tops of the bedside tables curved? ( things fall off it) why is there a cover for the sink? Yes, design and decor are important but NOT over practicality!

Never use rooms at first floor over the entrance. The automatic door is very noisy , specially during the night and it's impossible to sleep! Never the 101 room! People at reception is very impolite.

Ask for a room that has a view to the square, not an internal one.

Not sure about the ghostly self opening and closing doors. Fine in a lobby maybe, but on every room? Take an age to close too.

Insist on a Deluxe double overlooking the square—No. 431 has a large balcony , No. 231 a French balcony .
