Yam Shrimp fritters are so tasty. Of the two bahn mi I've tried, the Lemongrass Beef was my favorite over the Traditional. What lovely owners!

Great little Vietnamese cafe . The bahn mi sandwiches are great, the papaya salad is refreshing, and the yam/shrimp fritters are flavorful and crunchy. It's a hidden gem for sure.

Excellent bahn mi . Good service . It's a smaller restaurant in a terrible strip mall but ignore that and go. Lots of menu items you don't see in the myriad other Vietnamese restaurants in Austin.

Bahn mi , bahn xeo (crepe ), wonton soup and cream puffs .. can't go wrong. Best bread . Great family run place with good food and good people.

Try the banh cuon (steamed flat rice cake ) - pretty much the only vietnamese restaurant in Austin that has it. Banh mi and the cream puffs are also very good!

It's possible there are menu items beyond bánh mì at Tâm Deli , but it's damn near impossible to get past its ideal marriage of grilled pork , crispy-cool carrots and jalapeños , and tender baguette .

The kumquat lemonade and bahn mi are amazing, but it would be hard to go wrong with anything here. Grab a cream puff on your way out!

Man I don't know if I can narrow what's good here to 1 or 2 things. Just close your eyes and point to something and I almost guarantee you won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite stops for tasty bánh mì in Austin. Friendly staff too.

The lemongrass beef sandwich is sort of a big deal. Add a fried egg . End it with a puff pastry . Really delicious but also crowded during lunch and dinner . Go during off-hours.

Ask for Erik's Special (char-grilled pork sandwich with an eggroll inside) and add a fried egg . Grab a puff pastry on your way out.

banh mi was puny, wimpy, bread wasn't fresh and the whole sandwich was too dry....I'm wondering why it was crowded during lunch rush...it wasn't for the banh mi for sure
