Food generally oretty good, and great value . Nice service too. I asked what the curry was like (Turkish curry ?!) and they brought me a small bowl to try. As it happens its was nice, but not Turkish!

Yoghurtlu Chicken is very good. Handy place to have dinner before a film at the Hackney Picturehouse. And you won't have to pay too much.

A truly great Turkish ockabasi, amazing value for some incredible food. Try any of the yoghurtlu dishes and watch the skewers cook over the coals!

petrol is gone down, food is getting cheaper, biz rates frozen but these chaps decide to almost double the price of their mixed kebab , paid £21 4 a bottle of Heineken , Sprite & mixed kebab , disgrace!

Ignore the tips about bad service or food. It does get busy but its all really good!

İskender and Beyti with yogurt are very nice.

Lunchtime lamb special, melting off the bone. Great value !

Mixed hot meze followed by mix kebab for one is easily enough for two.

My regular dish is shish (lamb ) kebab . Cooked on charcoal it's tasty and lean. Safe choice!

Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza ) is amazing but never ever eat İskender Döner !
