Classic bliss!!! Fireside Room...one of, if not the best fireplace lounge/lobby bar in Seattle. Try the Uncle Albert or the Islay Manhattan...great happy hour from 10pm till closing.
Nice hotel reminiscent of what should have been plain luxury in the beginning of the 20th century. Today it still has plenty of cachet and charm. Rooms are spacious but are also quite noisy .
The wood-paneled room off the lobby is the grande dame of Seattle fireplace bars . Sure, there’s afternoon tea , but such stately surroundings beg for hot whiskey drinks
Just terrific. If you like things old school this place is a 9.5. Great beds, service, quiet rooms, gorgeous lobby and bar .
Have a drink and late HH in the Fireside room and retire upstairs to a well appointed classic room with an amazing bed. Ssshhh
Love this hotel , and the candy at the front desk when you check in. ;)
Sunday night music in the Fireside Room, quite nice. I hope it becomes a standard. The music is getting better and better.
The Sorrento Hotel bar is classy , not stuffy, despite the wood-paneled walls that surround the fireplace . The hunting-club vibe makes it the ideal spot for scotch . Read more
Fans of the Twilight Zone and Disney's Tower of Terror will love it.. Good thing there aren't any 13th floor..
Amazing stay and service! The beds are like sleeping on clouds! :)
I would recommend the Sorrento over the Hilton. Bigger room, friendlier staff , car service is so nice.
Pay attention to the carpet mat in the elevator..
Nice boutique hotel next to i the medical center .
If you go for happy hour , get the tower!
Cocktails where lovely, coffee press in the rooms! Staff always helpful
Cozy bar with half price appetizers at happy hour . The seared scallops were nice.
In room 300 at least, turn the temp knobs in the opposite direction from marked to get cooling or heating.
Beautiful hotel , poorly managed.
Loved the room and 20s charm. Car service is great!
The Wednesday evening block parties are the mad note and uber fun! Gorgeous property that oozes soul.
Be sure to ask what the cocktail of the day is.
High tea from 10-4 in the lounge ...24 hour advance notice required, though
Go simple with your drink and food orders. The staff aren't knowledgeable with their own products.
Do not order the creme brûlée ! Custard is chunky and overall size is tiny!
Sleepover is the best
The bed is so comfortable !
Give a hug out!
Don't go out clubbing and get smoky clothes . The maid will call Mgmnt and accuse you of smoking in the room. Bad little boy!!
Matthew Mina is long gone. The Happy Hour food is ala Costco. You get what you pay for.
Laid back atmosphere at the bar. Lou was the best bartender with great recommendations and a mean Old Fashioned. - Ashley Ross
Great historic hotel in the heart of downtown. Beautiful spacious rooms but best of all is the impeccable service. Don't miss Belle Epicurean for Seattle's top coffee, croissants and desserts. ;) - Kristine Gelsano
Great customer service. Attentive staff. Quite impressed so far - Michelle Waterhouse Ferguson
The view from the pool and hot tub is beautiful, overlooking the ferris wheel and the waterfront. Rooms are lovely and well-appointed, the lobby is elegant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. - Allison Bakke
Really cool that the city has still kept this mostly small local vendors. Definitely worth a visit, I still visit as a local! - Greg Wilcox
Many of their talks, on a wide range of subjects, are just $5. Makes for a stimulating and relaxing evening of learning. - Brian
