Beautiful view , fun totem to take a photo with, and a nice place to have a picnic after your long hike

Great views from the summit especially in sunny weather. It gets windy and cold under cloud cover, so make sure to bring a jacket and some snacks + water!

The best hikes are early in the morning, when clouds are super-low, and the wind from the bay is slowly pushing them over the rim towards the sunrise .

Good hike to the top for an amazing view . Worth the energy to get there

Hike took 4 hours round trip! If you can't find parking at the lot, drive down the hill into the residential areas.

Strenous hike . Carry water and wear caps no shade available. Park at ohlone college. Stanford Ave. can get crowded .

Great hike on full moon night . Amazing moonrise views and Bay Area views from the summit.

Very different hiking experience from the ones on the east coast
