Don't worry about waiting for a table - sit by the bar for some of the best service around. Wood grilled and Tchoupitoulas oysters , duck gumbo , and homemade bread rolls are all insanely good.

The bacon wrapped oysters were amazing!! We tried every fresh oyster on the menu & could probably have another round, they were that good! The seafood gumbo was delicious & had a spicy kick to it!

Food is very good, excellent whisky menu. Mussels are a must, you'll ask for more bread to soak up the delicious broth. Po boys are good. Quite an array of oysters to choose from.

Get the monster C.E.B.L.T. Po’Boy: perfectly fried catfish , a fried farm egg , some smoky Benton’s bacon , lettuce, and tomato with some crispy dive fries .

The cold and hot oysters were good. Had Shrimp bbq as an appetizer was tasty! A lot of items in the menu has pork . Just FYI would come back again.

C.E.B.L.T. po' boy This hot spot’s po' boy has the usual fried catfish , lettuce and tomato (and comes with fries ), but a farm egg and Benton’s bacon take it to the next level.

Food was amazing. Mussels appetizer was huge and filling so be careful not to fill up, it was very tasty. The bread basket was divine. The seafood in a saffron sauce, spectacular.

Never a bad meal at Pearl Dive, from an unpretentious Oyster Po'Boy to the soupy delight that is "What Cats Dream Of." And who cares about waiting for a table when the fabulous Black Jack is upstairs?

Delicious oysters . The woodgrilled oysters with garlic and chile are phenomenal. Love the sustainable oyster concept. Too bad it's soooo noisy , you have to scream to your mess mates ????Bad acoustics .

Great N'awlins like atmosphere. Get the mariscos de campechana for a yummy non-fried dinner option. House made ginger beer also decent. Don't forget to play trivia w/the playing cards!

Stopped for brunch . If cinnamon sticky with bacon is a special, you need to get it. Catfish po'boy made us both say OMG at first bite.

Don’t visit this retro-nautical low-key bar and restaurant without ordering a platter of oysters , accompanied by a light white wine or local microbrew .

Food was great, busy, great crowd and the last round was on the house. What else can you ask for? Also in a very happening Washington neighbourhood.

Oysters are a bit on the smaller size but the dipping sauces are fantastic. Real Oyster eating requires making your own sauce however and Pearl Dive seems to be lacking this knowledge .

Oysters were excellent! HOWEVER, beware their app-based ordering: really tedious and slow. Gave up and ordered old school. Took almost 15 seconds!

Dishes are upscale enough to be worthy of leaving home for but not so much that they become precious. What to get: Oysters on the half shell; seafood-studded salsa ; grilled bacon-wrapped oysters .

If you’re not a wine snob, get their house wine during happy hour . Super cheap prices per glass.

Their oyster selection can cater to beginners, but if you want to stay safe everything else is super tasty. Favorite drinks: Fleur 75 & Pearl Cup .

Duck and oyster gumbo only okay but the bread basket and grilled woodfite redfish were delicious!

Open on Mondays, with half price oysters on the half shell. Great food and an upbeat atmosphere.

Choose a liquor and ask a bartender to mix you a drink. I chose Bourbon and was mixed a TJ. It was great!

Enzo the bar tender is very nice. Definitely try the pork cheeks , so juicy and tender.
