Tiny spot, very NY like. Friends roll was good, but lots of flavors going on! Shashimi was very fresh! Also ordered Niku soup which was delicious! Not good for groups , 2-4 people max! Friendly staff !
Can You Handle It? roll is a must. It is delicious with a nice kick of heat. Many of the rolls come with 10 or so pieces which is a lot so keep this mind when ordering. We were stuffed!
I ate here several times. I love sushi , but I prefer to enjoy the time I spent with my friend here. The first time, I ate sushi in US is this restaurant with my friend.
One of my favorite Sushi restaurants - always visit when I come to Chicago. Umi roll is great but if you love crab and avocado try the Jazz roll
Devil's Roll and Friends Roll are both really great and different from each other to satisfy the spicy fresh (devils) and sweet tempura (friends). Get them both!
Fantastic sushi ! The Sweet and Spicy roll was very tasty and all of the Nigiri was delicious! Incredibly comfy chairs as well !
Try at least one of the Friends Signatures. Big Friends is awesome. It seems one needs come here a few times to begin to appreciate fully.

Order sreaded salmon signature roll! Spicy for spanish standards but tasty! They close early at night and they do not hide their intensions of kicking you out!

Everything was amazing...from the drinks and maki roll to the mochi ! One of my favorite sushi spots for sure.
Sushi is nice, I like the tempura udon and Friends sushi . The appetizers are pretty good too.
The iced green tea (matcha ) is really good. Also they have green tea ice cream if that is more your jam .
Small area but usually not that busy. Bring your Wikipedia app though because most menu items are in Japanese. Crunch and Cream Roll is Great!

Don't expect comfortable seating- the chairs are super awkward but the sushi is great. I'm bringing my own stadium chair next time I come.
