Pippin's Tavern

Pippin 's is a great little dive bar with no-nonsense (but helpful and attentive) service. A great place to stop in for a cold beer and quick bite if you're exploring downtown Chicago.

My favorite downtown dive ! This place has a great mix of people from all over. The Drinks are strong and the staff is great! Just please...don't play Don't Stop Believing on the jukebox ....

Affordable cozy bar . Great spot for after work drinks. Lots of regulars. Open till 4am week nights and 5am on the weekends!

About as Irish as a bar in London.tasty local beers .but big foamy heads equals small pints..Guinness pints being pulled did not look good. staff not overly friendly .. One beer done me and moved on.

Cozy lil bar in Streeterville where you can order hot dogs , polish, burgers , etc., from Downtown Dogs next door. One of my favorite places for lunch by the office .

Pippin 's is the place to be for a true Chicago tavern experience. Very diverse clientele due to location. I have loved Pippin 's since I first walked in in 1988.

Between the stuffy, overpayed crowd in the neighborhood there is this great little bar to let loose and enjoy yourself.

Best bar in Chicago so far! Reminds me of the pub in Indy! Great staff , great specials!

Fries !! And cheeseburger . Our waitress brought us another plate of fries after she served the first ones because she said they weren’t warm enough. Needless to say, I did not mind at all.

This place is Chicago! Great bartenders , friendly patrons, great selection and a classic Chicago Irish Pub !

Nice bartenders . It's a dive but the clientele Saturday afternoon was fun.

It's one of my favorite places by Loyola. And they serve Chicago Dogs from place next door.

Ignore the rude guy that checks IDs at the front door, he'd rather be somewhere else. Made up for by the great service from our waitress . Get sweet potato fries .

Surprisingly cheap and unpretentious, given its location.

The place is great, just beware If you are foreign you will need your passport, no other ID permitted for us.

If you come from abroad, bringing your passport is the only way to get in, they won't accept other foreign IDs and it's understandable.

A "last chance" bar if there ever was one. If you strike out here, your night is done.

Ask for jimmy the bartender . He knows how to take care of valued customers.

They are like the only place in this town with Sam Adams Seasonal. Mad props!!!

Was very expensive for 2 beers one 8 n the other 4 very small brandy glasses if I want to spend money I go to the night clubs
