I always like seeing films at the directors guild. Easy parking in garage . Sometimes free. Great place for film festivals .
Pay attention to your row number when you sit down. If you have to visit the restroom and come back in the dark, the row letters are illuminated on the seat by the aisle
The lobby displays for free to the public large photos of famous movie behind the camera on site scene shoots, before or after camera rollings. Occasionally the display includes movie posters.
Love to arrive early to chat with other folks in The Biz. Great signal here to get into my PerformerTrack account and research things on IMDb.
Great place - get here on time for SAG Film Society screenings because they shut the doors, and stop checking people in, once the film begins.

The building, and the security desk are both shaped like staggered film reels.
Ladies, they check purses for food, beverage, candy , gum, etc. They will confiscate all but water.
Really good quick food at Sansai right on the corner for pre-SAG-Movie meal.
They have s beautiful screening auditorium
