Love it here! Although the resort is huge, it's very intimate and relaxing. If you're looking for a swimming beach , this is not your place. Also, there are dress codes for dining.
Schedule time for a beachfront candlelight dinner . The Fuentes pool is where the action is. Luiz & Orlando are fun. Great shows every night in the guacamayes stage. Daily tours to historic places.
Food, rooms. If possible try and stay in Casitas side. It's more expensive but well worth it. Try the rooms with their own infinity swimming pool . Been here twice now and love it!
Wifi is a little sketchy in the rooms and expensive but lots of very nice places to eat. Jo jo's is nice during the day and take your pick at night. Staff couldn't be more friendly
Beautiful hotel , Sensimar section is great for couples wanting a quieter relaxing holiday, Spot is great for lunch and breakfast in this section.
Delish, gourmet food here. Very large property, be prepared to walk-or take the golf cart style shuttle! Don't miss Fuentes , well worth the time spent dining here!
Spend the money and book a swim-up suite. It is so, so worth it.
there are no places to grab a quick snack to bring back to your room, you either have to sit down at a restaurant or order room service , so plan accordingly. Wifi is very spotty, $11/day.
Use your own mugs. Room service is not very good. Dinner show is great. Hot tub should be run before using it…twice

El Dorado provides the best wedding locations. Even the garden gazebo is gorgeous.

Do NOT come during rainy season unless all you want to do is drink, because there is NOTHING else to do! Rooms & grounds are Lovely as well as most staff , but $4000 pd/5 days & I'm bored to tears.

The gift shops on the resort are much cheaper than the stores in Playa del Carmen and else where.

Fantastic! That guy who says he got few drinks ... Not true!
Place gets positive reviews. But understand there is a "class " system in place. If you're not in Casitas , u can't reserve restaurants , get very few drinks & get stuck in crappy rooms. Buyer beware.

Es una experiencia increíble dale uno totalmente relajado . Hay que probar los distintos chorros de agua que ayudan a relajarse .
El Spa es maravilloso tiene distintas regaderas de agua que dan masajes a diferentes partes del cuerpo.
Que delicia de lugar , un súper SPA , excelentes restaurantes . Súper recomendado
