About to order Char Siew/Siew Yoke for kopi break, but its S$7 for one portion & S$14 for Char Siew & Siew Yoke . Crazy price, especially when I only spent S$20 for 10pax portion at Toa Payoh.
Meanwhile, Ichiban Boshi Japanese restaurant at the same vicinity at Suntec City basement is having weekdays promo at S$5 for tea-break set meal including drinks.
Yafu Mini Wok - was surprised by their tasty steaming beef char kway teow .
The fresh juice stall is awesome! Must try: dragon fruit + soursop juice
The vegetarian stall has pretty nice dishes. Breakfast set at $3 only with your choice of any 3 side dishes.
Nice place to chill out & be rejuvenated by the auspicious Fountain of Wealth.
zhong hua curry rice . good taste, budget food. 5.5 GSD
Sergeant's steamed chicken rice has to be the best dish here
Thunder Tea Rice here is one of the best in town .
Ice lemon tea doesn't taste good. Try Baek Doo San Korean stall. Nice Korean food and more serving. ^.~
Sergeant Chicken Rice - it's the best :)
Sergeant Chicken Rice is the best! Set meal for 1 is only 6.50. The baby kailan with garlic is the perfect side.
The cha kwa tiao store service is like-.- I ordered cha kwa tiao they gave me carrot cake ! Be sure to double cmf ur order! But the carrot cake is nice though :)
It is always crowded during lunch time specially on weekends but turn over is fast. I always end up getting a seat... in between strangers.
Don't try the Chai 's original sliced fish soup after lunch hours. The fishes will go stale!
Tip for westerners...bring your own napkins, as none of the good stalls provide them with your order.
I like the fried Yong tau foo and vegetarian stalls . The Chinese mixed dishes rice stall is really underwhelming.
Finally a vegetarian stall in food republic! :3
Prata is not bad. (It's not the type that is crispy , however.) the desser stall has some unique creations.
Nice food with good variety. More seating area and nice setup. But need to improve on the juice area... Avocado juice .. tasteless... pls don't try.
Best variety of foods that i have tasted so far..
Recommend the fruit , some day pricey but really fresh.
The soy sauce chicken at the guan chee hk roasted duck stall is super delicious with the special chilli sauce .
Try the Thunder Tea Rice hidden in a corner. It's pretty unique.
Green apples + sour plum .
Come here for kopi break, was craving for Tu Tu Kweh, but it has been replaced by the so-so taste of Lau Pat Sat Apa Rojak :-/
The library-themed Food Republic. I love the steamed chicken rice from Sergeant. The homemade iced lemon tea is too sour for my taste.
The price for orange juice is exorbitant, $3.50/cup.
Basil Chicken with Egg & Rice is superb
Chicken rice here is barely acceptable
Foods are not so bad after they revamped but try to avoid stalls that are sometime mended by China lady staffs . They gives u little foods and shows attitude as if they are being forced to work.
Remember join us for church service at Room 601-602 every Sat at 5pm and Sun 10am.
Paywave/pay pass will be available from 23 June
Nice yu cha kuay and butterfly!!! A must to try it!!!!

Yafu Mini Wok update - quality is inconsistent. B le warned as not be disappointed.

First & last time at Guan Chew HK Roasted Duck stall . Wanton mee $5 on menu, cashier asked if small or medium, opt for medium, guess what? $12. Charged $5 for wanton mee n $7 for roasted char siew .
Yong Tau Foo ! Best veggies so far during my time here
Big food republic location.. On two levels... But feels a bit run down.
U gota watch out during there is exhibitions or events ... Their food serve little amount then usual...!!!
Like the hokkien mee & carrot cake ... Yum yum
Japanese food stall was a total waste of calories. Katsu don looked like it was made halfheartedly.
Check out the cute guy working at Sergeant Chicken Rice . Hahahaha
Fried hokkien mee is good. No bean sprouts !
No 3G network for M1 inside Food Republic!
Try the Duck Noodles here. HK style noodles . Thumbs-up!
The Fishball stall has moved inside Food Republic. - Jaron T.
The Riverside Indonesian Curry or Sweet Black Sauce Chicken Set is the Best!! - Muad'Dib Kal
[Chilli Mee] S$3 (# 01-59) - Comes with prawns, pork ribs (tasty & it absorbs the flavour of the soup), eggs. Not VERY fantastic like what others said but worth the try. - Vivienneeluv
