This is one of my top ten hawker centres to go to in Singapore. Wide array of stalls selling all kinds of delicious hawker food, you'll be spoilt for choice. Check the army market on 3rd floor after.
Fried prawn noodles : Hainan Fried Prawn Noodles #B1-34. Watching d cook meticulously & passionately frying his noodles is enuf 2 whet ur appetite! Tasty dish w a hard-to-find-these-days wok flavour
Chilli noodles . Chung Cheng Chilli Mee #01-59 serves a mishmash noodle bowl of fishcake , taupok, hard-boiled egg , prawn , & braised pork rib — splashed with chilli sauce . It tasted savoury
Kedongdong juice . Get this unique ice-blended drink from Rong Hua #B1-08. A rare find. Also known as umbra (or "ampulla" in Penang), the drink is from a local fruit that is sweet-sour & slightly tart
Possibly the best pastry I've eaten this year. Love the oozing goodness of their lava baguette 'balls'. Enjoyed their chocolate lava & hazelnut lava flavours
Hainan fried hokkien prawn mee (#B1-34) is easily in my top 10 hokkien mee stalls in sg! So delicious!
Gado gado . Enjoyed my vegetarian-friendly plate from Wedang B1-19. Rice cakes , boiled cabbages , tofu , hard-boiled egg . Smothered in a layer of sweet peanut sauce
ATMs found here on level 1: POSB/DBS, OCBC, UOB. In the same cluster, there is also an AXS machine to pay bills, transact with gov agencies, remit money, etc
Pork belly don ($6). Mdm Zhang #01-70 offers this unique rice bowl . Balanced pork & vege combo. Ordered the medium bowl ($8.50) for more protein (pork belly , ramen egg , fried tofu , braised mushrooms )
Ban mian. Clean tasty flavours from Kwee Hoe #B1-32. Well-balanced sauces, generous vege . Egg was well boiled and served separately for non-soup noodle orders
Bread bowls with sweet fillings. Chk out Mr Baguette #B1-51 that sells mini baguette tarts with cheese , hazelnut choc , egg pudding & other sweet/molten fillings. U can ask for the tarts to b heated up
Fried kway teow . Enjoyed a plate from 家鄉炒粿條 Hometown Fried Kway Teow #B1-50. Moist & flavourful. And big pieces of fries pork lard (la pok)😁
Vegetarian options : ah bo leng, tahu goreng , lontong, fruits , local desserts , beancurd , yong tau foo , bread & pastries , goreng pisang , muffins , specialty vegetarian stalls , rojak , grass jelly
Burgers . Find them from Ashes Burnnit! #B1-24. Decent meal. All burger orders come with fries ; there is no option to leave them out. Price starts from $5.90 for a single patty cheeseburger
Chicken curry noodles ($6 smallest bowl). Generous bowl from Da Po #B1-53! Thick gravy . Served with bean sprouts (“taugeh”), slices of fried beancurd (“tau pok”) & fish cakes , chunky potato , fish maw
Hokkien Fried Noodles . New contender You Fu #01-57 (top pic) offers a more substantial plate compared to Hainan Fried Prawn Noodles #B1-34. Flavours were richer & tastier when sampled side-by-side
Sarawak Kolo Mee. Savoury bowl of noodles served by Kuching Food Point #01-103. Enjoyed every bite. Generous ingredients
Indonesian Nasi Anbeng. Tucked in a corner of the basement floor is Nasi Anbeng Nenek Leng #B1-01. Big rice portions but pricey dishes. This combo of chicken curry + brinjal sambal + begedil = $7.80!
AhBoLeng (rice ball dessert ): When I get cravings, 2 plcs crop up: here & Maxwell Mkt. More options here: choice of 5 fillgs (peanut ,black sesame ,yam ,greentea ,redbean) & 3 soup (ginger ,peanut , almond )
Peranakan. Charlie's #B1-30 does not hv 1-person meals. They will sell you a dish perhaps, like this chicken rendang $8 + rice 50-cents. Although yummy, the portion can feed 2 persons
Hainanese Curry Rice . Enjoyed this basic dish from Golden Mile Curry Rice #01-110. Generous wet curry . Fast & affordable
Specialty vadai (Indian 'donut '). The versions from The Vadai Shop #B1-32 is chewy (left). The one made from lentils (right) is small & flat. Pricey too: $0.90 instead of $0.50 in most places
Luroufan ($5.50). The presentation from Taiwan Fan Bao #01-102 appears more like caifan: wide plate, served with 2 vege dishes. Braised pork lacks the sweet aromatic spices. Egg is hard-boiled
Still one of my favorite spots in the country , wide variety of really good food stalls , check out Charlie's Perenakan, or any of the soup tulang stalls .
Read a few reviews about the char kway teow at stall 91 so I went ahead and tried it. It is not too oily and it does come with a lot of vegetables . Not overly fantastic but still yummy.
Roast meats . Choon Kee #01-74 prepares well-caramelised char siew (BBQ pork ). Not overly fatty, the char was just nice. Sio bak (roast pork ) was positively memorable too👍🏼
Get your local kopi brewed using an espresso machine at Kopi MORE #B1-49. Fragrant & silky smooth
Best to eat chill with friends long lost friend here. Affordable price here to eat. Most chinese stalls closes at night. Best is the Indian stalls opens even at after hours.
Cheap and good food here! Try the authentic Thai food from Toi Thai Kitchen, you won't regret it!
Loads of good food here - Ashes Burnit for burgers , Oyster Boy for oyster cakes ! The cheong fun stall here is good too and so are the two Thai food stalls .
Try the Thai Experience @01-110. Fantastic red curry with pork/beef/chicken. Awesome pineapple rice too. Can't find anything that is not nice here! Must try!!!
Wantan mee . Enjoyed the caramelised & smoky ‘char siew ’ from Wen Kang Ji #B1-29. The BBQ pork slices was the real hero of the plate. This serving $5

Monday night dinner . Not as lively as it is a rest day for many popular stalls . Yet, there’s enough stalls to cater to your dining needs
Cendol ($2.50). Gula Melaka from Old Amoy Chendol #01-96 was too thick for my liking, thicker than typical honey ! Otherwise green jelly & red bean were on point
Teh peng (iced milk tea ) from 138 Hot & Cold Drinks #B1-42 is thick! Reminds me of the Thai-style with deep orange colour. $1.20
Try the Grilled Fish with salad at Salad 's Box! The fish is well-seasoned and flavored, coupled with abundance of salad . Unit no. #01-82
If you're looking for some dessert after your meal, Zhao An Granny Grass Jelly will be ideal for you. Simply refreshing, with some toppings of your choice. Try the one with sea coconut . Thumbs up!
B1-35 Chicken rice ! Everything is just perfect! Chicken , rice , soup , chilli ! I have not tasted anything this good in a long while!
Juice Art at B1 has good variety of juices , cheesy & healthy range too. Avocado with gula melaka is reasonably priced
Luroufan (Taiwanese pork rice ). Get this from Wei Li #01-65. $3.50 for a basic bowl — just pork & rice . No vege . The bowl tasted incomplete. Egg is +$1.50

Japanese style pasta . Unimpressed with cream base beef Neapolitan spaghetti from Fudo #01-111. While chef made an effort to prepare, nothing stood out
