Nice children library , free arts & crafts classes on weekends. Pretty nice collection of books too but unfortunately not for loaned. Clean and modern surrounding. One of the best KL attractions .

Near the National mosque is this museum devoted to Islamic arts , which is the largest in the world. Has artifacts , jewellery, artworks, and a comprehensive library . Open from 10 am to 6 pm.

This is probably the most quiet and empty place in Kuala Lumpur but it is underestimated. A great place for arts lover.

It's not expensive at all. It's just the right size with a really good shop. The permanent exhibitions are great. Highly recommended.

Great museum , but as you go thru the collections ask why for items brought from Indonesia they rarely mention the name of the country (Indonesia), but only Cirebon, Aceh, Minang, Yogya, etc??? Unfair!

Very rich museum , you learn a lot on islamic architecture and customs of each country . Loved the mosque models .

Haven for a history buff like me. Very thorough explanations and very vast amount of collection. Too bad there are no guide who can answer questions and a lot of lights are broken.

Very nice museum , great collection of Islamic Art , good souvenir shop, no photos allowed.

Must visit place. Delicious food and cheap souvenirs (calligraphic souvenirs!). Love it!

My faves were the evolution of Islamic calligraphy and the mosques . Excellent collection

Quality of the exhibits are top notch, even if the presentation is a little dry.

Worth to visit (and I'm a picky person), especially for non Muslim who are interested to get to know a bit of Muslim culture . Well organised and structured .

The beauty of art for different eras

The auditorium is a great event space . Looks like it fits up o 300+ ppl. Stage is huge and they have house lighting and projector , need to get a good clicker though.

The Museum Of Islamic Arts is set close to the National Mosque . It contains one of the world’s best collections of Islamic art .

The gift shop is excellent. Variety of souvenirs, artworks, and even wonderful children books section.
