Loved our dinner here! Best of the week and best of many this year. The gnocchi are delicious and the food & service were excellent. The wine list and cellar are very impressive. Very romantic !

Lovely front terrace and lovelier patio . Delicious trattoria style pasta , with particularly high marks for the gnocchi and cannelloni . Magnificent wine list featuring classics alongside discoveries.

Wonderful rustic pastas and spectacular wine book . The sommeliers here truly add to the dining experience. The restaurant itself has a lot of ambiance and romantic charm. Dog friendly as well !

Nice low key cozy place with great lamb , croquettes , pasta and gnocchi . Cute inside but lovely outdoors. The wine list is damn impressive but the “by the glass” is mostly the owner’s brands

Seafood linguine was excellent as was the scallop and beef tartare starters. Wait staff is excellent and the suggested wine from the sommelier was fantastic. Their outdoor area is very dog friendly .

Spinach gnocchi and cannelloni . They have an extended wine list , ask the sommelier for recommendations.

Go with the Burrata and tomato starter with balsamic, wow so delicious. Plus love the bread and sauce they give you at the table!

The wife and I loved it here. Back patio is very cute and intimate . Cannelloni and short rib were both excellent. Could have done without the artichoke appetizer though. Definitely coming back.

Sunday Night. Amazing service. Spinach gnocchi and tartare are to die for. Linguini and Sweet pea raviolis are also delish. Dolce do Cioccolata (warm chocolate cake ) is DA bomb! Wine selection is A1!

The cannelloni was amazing, and the spinach gnocchi was out of this world. Intimate, but still fun for small groups (6 or so). Ask for a tour of the cellar.

The lamb was just fantastic. The wines are great too. We Ask for mussels too, and it could had more attention. It had a lot of sand, but, nothing that makes it less delicious

Get the veal cause it got that bone marrow good stuff. Seafood fettuccine and spinach gnocchi we're good but not amazing. The pear dessert , get that good stuff.

Gnocchi are perfect, as well as cannelloni ! Liked the wine list which was extensive - get a local wine and you won't be disappointed!

Burrata and wine selection were excellent. Duck confit itself was okay but the salad and lentils with it were outstanding.

The best restaurant in Carmel. I've been going to this restaurant for over 12 years & they are consistently excellent!

Gnocchi and Cannoli is the perfect meal.

Get the spinach gorganzola gnocch graten- very pillowy. Get the lemon souffle . Get the Belgium frites (ask for the aioli that comes with the artichoke- you won't be disappointed!)

Underwhelming food, overwhelming wine . The under-seasoned entrées are worth bearing for the fantastic sommelier and his extensive wine list . A+++ would drink again.

Everything is good here. Extensive wine list , try the gnocchi , the linguine , the pappardelle , and the cannelloni . Exquisite.

Ask for a tour of the wine cellar - unbelievable collection. The cellar was dug by hand while the restaurant operated uninterrupted upstairs. You've got to love the Casanova story! Read more

Gnocchi was light as a feather. Wine , bread , cheese , and amazing service made for a wonderful evening.

Loved the atmosphere. Food was delicious. Beer was only sold by bottles the size of a wine bottle, which was a bummer.

Outside patio with great atmosphere. The veal rago and trout were great. Service was fantastic.

The beef caneloni is amazing. Try to get a table in the patio and enjoy the sun.

The swordfish is divine. Everything is fantastic, but it’s on another level.

The Endive was very good. The staff do not pay attention. They forgot us between every dish. And when you ask for 35% tip on the bill, you have to laugh, the service is not even close to that.

Everyone is right on, Gnocchi is great! Skip the salmon . Osso Buca is fantastic. Delicious!

If you find the wine list dizzying (as I did), the house Cabernet is a great wine-by-the-glass option.

Seafood fettuccine and the mushroom ravioli were perfect!

Try the seafood Fettucini , it was excellent! Very nice place

The spinach gnocchi (Casanova gnocchi ) is a must try! It's been part of the restaurant for over 30 years.

With over 1900 wines on the menu you would be wise to take advantage of the sommelier . He's a gem, give him a taste of your special bottle.

Who wouldn't order gnocchi (large is recommended)

Menu is very limited, with only few Italian dishes , but the food is nice. The service was poor, taking too long to serve. The wine is vast, but the wine options were very expensive

Cannelloni was great. Nice atmosphere!
