A very nice square to spend some time with friends. You can buy some chocolate , eat or drink something, it's really a very pleasant place

Get a cocktail at Waxmans and sit outside, grab a free sample at 1 of 3 Ghirardelli shops, grab a beer in the lagunitas beer garden , or peruse an etsy art pop up shop in the old warehouse !

Don't get stuck in tourists traps. Head here at night, grab your pricey ice cream cone from the chocolate shop (mint chocolate chip is my fave) and head to bleachers by the bay . Great view

Awesome place!! They make fresh chocolate everything!! They give you fresh samples. And you can buy it right there!!Fun place.

Must-visit place. Daytime or nighttime it will always be a beautiful spot to spend some time. I would recommend this place anytime between late afternoon and sunset .

The square is so nice - many pictures to be taken with the sign and the store, plus the square is so nice to just sit and enjoy your chocolate .

Settled on this place for lunch and newbies to the area! Quick pleasant service spicy fish sandwich and fried pickles were our choices...and drinks of course

Treat yourself to an ice cream sundae - the hot fudge sauce is utterly decadent! My personal favorite is mint chocolate chip ice cream with Ghirardelli hot fudge . Omg yum!

Is a small mall where you can see from the outside the ghirardelli factory . Do not forget to taste the milkshakes and the chocolates !

Hot fudge sundaes are great most everywhere, but here they seem just a tad bit better. Nice little shopping area with boutique shops throughout the interesting old factory 's complex.

Lola North Shore is a fabulous little boutique with great San Francisco souvenirs and wonderful, unique, entertaining gifts for all ages.

Free chocolate sample at every entrance. If you walk in to all of the stores and go in circles enough you can have your fill for free. :-)

I loved the Nud hill with extra espresso shot !!! But tbh their Cashiers are the worst ;( N their service doesn't qualify their big reputation! I hope they train them to be more professional

Ice is very sweet, too much for my taste, bit the view is perfect. Also not to forget the dark chocolate with see salt caramel

Is always great to have an ice-cream in this place! Try the Sundaes but I will recommend to share sometimes.

It's no more a factory , so if you want to know more about Ghirardelli , this is not the right place. However, they give you some coupons to buy ice cream if you go and ask for the tour trip ;)

It's a touristy place, and it can get really crowded during weekends. People make long lines for ice cream , but I recommend trying the Kara's Cupcakes better.

The Treasure Island Sundae is a must buy! The brownie inside just makes it that much tastier and satisfying!

Their ice creams are too big for one person. I liked the one with chocolate , didn't like the vanilla .

Go in, get your free ghirardelli square, then buy what you want at Walgreens for 50% less. They don't make the chocolate there so it's rather pedantic.
