Absolutely breathtaking! Must visit destination! Drinks are not readily.available throughout, so bring drinks and snacks . There are basically only cafe/restaurant at the entrance n exit.
If a really sunny hot day, look for umbrellas near ticket booth before entering. Also, bring a water container/cup/drinks with you to keep hydrated & sunscreen . $5 vend sandwich in the recept center
Amazing place. Be sure to save enough time to see it all, and don't miss the Japanese gardens , the Chinese gardens , and especially the Insectarium
La cour des sens aka the touchy feely garden that is accessible for people who are blind or who have a visual impairment.It is free it is on the left side of the building across from the restaurant

Make sure to stop at the Insectarium ! Cool exhibits , and a nice break from the heat if you're visiting in the summer. Bring a bottle of water along; food/drink is hard to find and overpriced.

Great area to stroll and see the interesting topiaries and plant collections. The insectarium is great for kids as well . Quite a busy spot on weekends but fun for all.
Like walking in paradise. The garden actually contains a lot of smaller gardens so it takes at least 2 days to visit all the places. Prepare a full charged camera . You don't wanna miss anything.
This place is truly emblematic of Montréal! It's a fantastic destination for the entire family to enjoy. Highly recommended for a memorable visit!

If you are going to spend any length of time in the garden , pack food and drinks with your group. The lines are busy but so worth it.
During the Montreal 1976 Summer Olympics it hosted the athletics 20km walk and the running part of the modern pentathlon event .
The mosaïcultures is just beautiful....must see....with the price of one ticket you can visit the site one more time until Sept 29!!!!

Came here mid April and everything was closed since it was still too cold for anything to grow. They still let you walk around though even though it's pretty barren

Save time by buying your ticket online ahead of time. Go straight to entrance line to get your ticket scanned. Long line otherwise.

I used to go once a year to see the lanterns, but this year it was extremely disappointing. Minimal lanterns (most recycled from previous years) and the grand pavilion was closed for renovations.
