Take a wander down Streatham High Street and you will no doubt end up in Pratts & Payne, a pub named after the two most memorable landmarks from Streatham's past; the now sadly destroyed Pratts department store and the very much alive and kicking Cynthia Payne.

Great burgers ! Unique seating chairs. Excellent on a Sunday night when they put the roast lunch leftovers on tables.
Good selection of beer , tasty burger , nice beer garden . Great for this part of town . Name derives from the old dept store and Cynthia Payne who "worked" nearby. Maybe she shopped at Pratts as well ?
Simply the best pub in the area, great atmosphere for young creatives and families at the same time. Relaxed and stylish . Craft beer selection is always changing and evolving.
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff , excellent quiz. Food varies & vegetarian options have deteriorated in recent months.
Nice food and good selection of beers . The place feels nice and relaxed and there's plenty of room.
Bigger then it looks, with a beer garden and BBQ in the summer! Much nicer than next door!
The number of decent pubs in streatham just grew - same guys that have the antelope in tooting. Definitely worth a visit.
Relaxing atmosphere , good selection of ales , kind staff . Worth stopping by.
Lovely place, a nice constantly changing selection of very good ales .
Cool decor, live music , cheap wine , great garden

Great menu and atmosphere and pub quiz on a Wednesday laid back fun!
Brilliant burgers , brilliant pub , brilliant decor, just a shame about the roasts.
Nice traditional pub , friendly staff , never overcrowded and the best toilets I have ever been to!
Great pub , good food, great atmosphere, busy and fun.
Enjoyed the roast beef very much. Fast service and attentive staff .
Good value for Money on the Sunday roast dinner .
Food can take a while. Still the best place on the high road !!
The beer , food and vibes
One of the few decent pubs/bars in Streatham
Best pub on streatham high road !
Great beer garden
my favourite meeting and eating place.
Overly trendy bar staff does not compensate for competence. Music too loud for conversation.
Great ale selection
Nice joint.
Very slow service lately
Great food and nearly always have doombar on tap. Very friendly staff. Try the homemade macaroni cheese! - Anna Marsden
Newly refurbished, great cosy light interior, garden area is outstanding! Probably the best pub in Streatham Common - Ekaterina Petrova
great roasts. friendly staff. shows football. top spot to spend sunday afternoon! - Chris Pelly
Delicious authentic Italian food served with a smile! Very quick, fresh and gorgeous pizzas. They even do take away and delivery. - Francois Schlebusch
Rarely full, recently updated with comfy seats though can be very cold with over-zealous air on. Buy snacks in the Sainsburys opposite. Has all the LIVE performances too. - Jane Wroe
Good prices and beer and food good value and for families and beer garden - Karen Penn
