You step out of the security check right into the duty free. Strange positioning, but you can just take the security lane farthest to the right, then you can avoid the duty free.
The Farmer's market corner has actually very good smoked salmon , but it's only available if you're going abroad.
The duty free shop at HEL is placed disturbingly in the way of passengers coming from the security check, for increasing sales. This area used to be a nice open space . Avoid at all costs.
Get your last minute souvenirs from Finland here. Rye bread and so on.
