It's so close to deli 's just in case you get hungry or thirsty. It could use more nature though.
In the Bronx, on Sunday March 11 is the 14th Annual Throggs Neck St. Patrick's Day Parade , which starts at noon at East Tremont and Lafayette Avenue.
Best view of the park is on Arthur Ave. newly renovated.
