The lines are long but they move really quick. Plus the baristas are really nice - be nice to them and theyll be nice to you. Sometimes they'll let you cut the line or even get free drinks.
The Starbucks on campus is a great place for NYU students to have meetings because it has community tables and is situated in the heart of campus. Read more
The most insane line just because of its location near NYU. The best times to grab food/drinks are at opening and after 4 PM. Try a panini and skim vanilla latte . Use Tapingo to order in advance.

As an NYU alum I have a soft spot for this Starbucks, but the line is always crazy and all the seating is packed with the NYU laptop mafia.
If you're one of the lucky few who can get a seat here to do homework, NEVER GET UP. It will disappear immediately upon you leaving your seat.
If you're near nyu...need a quick coffee ? DONT LET THE LINE INTIMIDATE YOU! The line is always long BUT it moves very quickly and efficiently!
Usually crowded with NYU students , tourists visiting Washington Square Park and locals. Fast service , most of times
Download the Tapingo app and order in advance to skip the enormous line . You can pay with credit card or dining dollars.
Longass lines so get here at least 10 minutes before class . It is NOT your last minute grab and go coffee place , but it IS the only useful place for dining dollars.
Enjoy waiting behind undergrads as they sample their drinks at the sugar/milk station in order to get the perfect blend of strawberry frappucino and splenda .
If you're nice to them, they're nice to you. A smile can go a long way, sometimes even to a free upsize!
They do Frappaccino Happy Hour here! But if you aren't an NYU student , would be better going to the B'way one to avoid the line anyway.
Come and mix up your new frappuccino try one of the 30 new combinations today, perfect for these hot days! Use your Dining Dollars here!
Try to chat up as many college girls till you place your order with walking barista and you might be awarded with " hustler " on your cup....
They don't have the payment solution to process your smartphone's Starbucks application so paying for your purchase will take a longer duration. The staff manually type in your card number.
It's run by NYU so no Starbucks card purchases or free wifi (you have to be an NYU student .) get to know the baristas, though, and you can get lots of free coffee ;)
Huge lines . Mentally prepare yourself, or be miserable. You can earn stars on your Starbucks Card/App here, but you can't redeem them.
All Xmas latte flavors (caramel brûlée , gingerbread , pumpkin spice ) are sooooo good!!!
Use campus cash or dining dollars here. And don't worry, the line moves quickly.
Order a pumpkin chai tea with soy milk - you'll be pleasantly surprised.
The barstools are absurdly tall here.
Very spacious Starbucks with big tables; could be good to do group work here but somebody should bring a power strip. Table seats 7 but only one 2-plug outlet underneath.
Use the restroom downstairs if you have a NYU card instead of the only one in the back at Starbucks.
Approach the ladies who packed their lunch to Starbucks. Chances are they had no lunch plans with anyone so a better chance they are single.
If Melissa is making the drinks, ask for the Melissa Chai . So good!!!
Unless you want to wait a long time during school days, come super early or give yourself plenty of time before classes in line .
Melissa is the best employee! She knows my drink order and knew my name the second time I came in!
Try the new Blonde Roast! It is sure to satisfy your afternoon caffeine fix!
long lines every time when i visit..!! better to find another coffee shop !
Visit the NYU campus Starbucks--alumnae and City Slips' co-founders Katie Shea and Susie Levitt's old stomping ground. Try the new caramel coffee lite frap ! deLISH
Check out Xmas Blend '24, featuring Aged Sumatra coffee .
For the green and gold cardholders you should know you don't get the discount here
New Skinny beverages are tasty and low calorie , try one today
I feel cool waiting on line for 15 minutes with the other hip college kids.
Note that this Sbux is NOT a regular franchise. It is owned by NYU. Thus, your rewards extras won't be valid here, and there will be no consistency re: BYO mug, promotions, etc. NOT A REAL STARBUCKS.
Expensive coffee with long long make this place the state of the art coffee shop . (1 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Springbreak hour change
Longest line in the world filled with college students . Basically it's the daytime version of Williamsburg or the LES - just substitute alcohol for caffeine.
Lines are ALWAYS reaching the back door!!! Thank GOD I get to campus 30 minutes early, so don't have a problem with waiting...
Order the iced french vanilla caramel macchiato.....sooo fudging good. Oh snap I'm drooling 8-p
People working here are very rude. Place is good but workers forget about them.
There is NO wifi here, just for NYU students .
If you're wondering where to spend your useless Dining Dollars, this is the place to go to!
Perfect oatmeal with almonds and a Green Tea gets my mind to fire right.
LOLNO. You are a sad, sad person if you choose to come here for coffee unless you are a freshman with Dining Dollars to burn. Even then, there are better uses.
Try the Very Berry Coffee Cake - Pretty good... But it's Starbucks :/
They need Starbucks card scanner.. Still typing OMG!!
If Davis isn't present, then you may actually get some work done.
Tip for the Starbucks corporation: hire more people, get more tables and bring another coffee machine for this location. It's getting ridiculous...
Much better than Starbucks for a caffeine fix...cheaper, less crowded, similar options, and the staff is super friendly. - Magda
Very spacious, friendly staff, and above all else good coffee. Usually crowded during the academic year but stop by during the holidays or summer for a cozy break. - Anthony
Ice coffee with almond milk and a vegan oatmeal banana chocolate chip cookie is my go to treat - Anna
Beautiful, European style park. Occasional live music and outdoor chess makes it a hit. - Gajtana Simonovska
