New menu, new drinks and new cups. If you’re in the area this is a must, although you might need to wait 15-30 minutes for a seat.
Uh-Oa and Krakatoa were both excellent (and they gave me my tiki glasses in a box!) The decor is the perfect blend of Tiki Room/Jungle Cruise chic . I can't wait to go back to try more drinks!
Drinks are stronger than you think. Krakatoa come with a light up ice cube. Uh-oa gets set on fire. Temple of the forbidden rye is a delicious off menu item .
Quick update: new tiki mugs, and a secret menu ! Try the Meihana or Navy Grog, just to name a few!
Best themed bar in OC. Treat every drink with love. If you're a tiki enthusiast, it's not to be missed; certain drinks, when ordered, create an interactive experience with the bar and bartenders !
The Uh Oa !, the Krakatoa Punch , the Hippopoto-MaiTai, the Shrunken Zombie Head ...too many to choose from. Get the spicy wings and enjoy the atmosphere!
This is one of our favorite bars . It's not far from the Convention Center and offers a lot of fun Disney gags. Some of the drinks come with special surprises, but we'll leave them to you to discover!
Ask for Kelly and order a suffering bastard, or ask for Christian and order a liquid love, or ask for ron and order a navy grog, or ask for bernado and order an orange burst with alcohol !!!
Rating: 5. Pro: drinks are amazing! Ambiance is awesome. Con: Service is hit or miss - either you get an awesome one or not, no in between. Parking at downtown Disney and walk.
The mai tai was just deliciousness, very strong. Love the atmosphere, don't be shy and talk around their back patio is open seating !
One of the most enjoyable bars I've ever visited. They are open even after Downtown closes! Order a Shipwreck and wait for the ocean spray ????
Can't wait to go back there next week. Panko crusted chicken sandwich with papaya slaw n sweet&spicy asian wings were so good! Drinks: shrunken zombie head and mai-tai♥
This place is really nice. Good music impromptu hula dancing and very pretty tiki ambiance ! But it was packed, and the drinks are too strong LOL had to get extra juice and water it down!!!
The ambiance is great, and have great tiki mugs to take home. Service can take a little long later in the evening when all the adults and parents are in dire need of a drink.
My favorite destination while at the parks . Fun place too! Have to go inside and order some of the different drinks to see what Disney magic might happen!
Great place with an awesome atmosphere. It's worth the walk from Disneyland . Try the Mosquito Mojito !
Sit at the bar for exceptional service . The ahi poke and pork wings are phenomenal. If you don't have a sense of whimsy, you might a well just go to ESPN Zone & leave this place to the young at heart.
Order the Krakatoa Punch or the Uh-Oa! to trigger a brief additional theatrical experience when dining or drinking inside.
Awesome little tiki bar in the Disneyland Hotel . Not much room inside, but ample outdoor seating . Great tropical drinks and small bites.
Came on a Saturday night at around 10 and got a spot almost immediately. Bartenders are really nice and it's a fun atmosphere . I got the piranha pool and it was delicious.
Nice hidden bar in downtown Disney. No necessary to go through security since it is right behind the hotel . Delicious tropical drinks !
See if you can spot the Buzz/Woody tiki mugs (there are two to show both sides). They were a gift for the Toy Story 3 crew from director Lee Unkrich. I wonder how many heads Sam had to trade for them? Read more
If your feet are hurting, ditch the afternoon crowds and take the Monorail to Trader Sam's. Toss back a tipple and return to the park when the crowds start going home.
UH-OA! UH-OA! UH-OA-OA-OA! It's a STRONG tasty drink and they set it on fire. What more could you want?
So much fun! Get the Uh-Oa!, Shrunken Zombie Head , Shipwreck on the Rocks or Krakatoa Punch !
I love this place! Bernardo is the best bartender - he makes the entire experience. Order the Uh Oa , Krakatoa or Mosquito Mojito ! And tip well - imagine having to do what they do every day ;)
Great cocktails . Usually sit outside because the inside is so busy, but definitely take a look.
Great atmosphere, fantastic drinks, fun bartenders plus tikis, tikis and more tikis!!!
Tiki bar I've heard described as "If the Enchanted Tiki Room served drinks". Interactive menu means that if you order certain drinks, the bar staff -- and the room itself -- will react accordingly.
Most of the bartenders are pretty good. However Kelly and Rhonda are the best. Be sure to sit at the bar to have them make your drinks. You will notice the difference.
Best kept secret at the Disneyland Resort ! Tiki Room theme. Awesome drinks and ambience. Outside patio features live music .
The souvenir glasses are a fun to drink from and collect! Order a side of the green beans !
"The Uh Oa ! can be shared by 2-4 people, has a cool tableside presentation, and is our favorite drink here. They serve good beers , but stick to mixed drinks because they’re that good." ~ Tom Bricker Read more
Decor and vibe inside the bar are amazing, but the Tiki drinks are not much more than Kool Aid sugar bombs made with cheap liquor . I wish they'd make them more authentic like Tiki Ti or Bali Hai.
Strong drinks (most of them, anyway). Oh and those light up ice cubes that come with select cocktails make awesome emergency lights for your car.
Order a shipwreck of you're sitting inside. You won't be disappointed! Best to visit in early afternoon is it is a popular spot in the evenings.
Secret drink, off the menu ! Kungaloosh: vodka , rum , Midori , pineapple juice .
Definitely sit inside at the bar and don't be surprised if you start shrinking. After all, Trader Sam's is a magical place.
The Hippopotomaitai is a jungle favorite!
Haven’t had a drink that I didn’t like yet. It’s all pretty amazing and great service!
A perfect break for lunch outside the parks -- amazingly, it's EMPTY at noon, even on the park 's busiest days. Plus: cocktails !
The best seats in the house are the middle one on the left side of the bar and the one that's third to the left on the front of the bar .
You must appease the tiki gods and order a neverland ice tea , in honor of the lost bar .
Actually pretty great. Sit inside - some of the drinks come with surprises!
You must come in with a smile and a taste for delicious rum drinks .
Great place to unwind after going to Disneyland . Try the shipwreck or zombie. Super strong drinks !
Ask for a Kungaloosh, an old Adventurers Club classic! They can't make either version just ask!
Strong drinks , reasonable prices and a fun environment!
I know no one sits in a bar and actually reads the entire menu, but this one is definitely worth it, especially if you're a fan of the Jungle Cruise !
This is still one of those must do experiences for me at the Disneyland Resort. It's a bit pricey, but I always leave feeling like I got my money's worth. The Holiday menus are amazing as well. - Sean Menefee
Valet and Bell Desk services are awesome. Get a room that overlooks the pool and you'll be able to see the fireworks too. - Bryan
Great place for breakfast if you're staying at Disneyland, good prices too. - Robert C.
Definitely one of the top quality tiki bars around. Food is very good quality and drink menu is spot on! - Tina Jay
The mushroom flatbread is one of the best I've tasted. Loved the sweet onions with the mushrooms. - Rayshawn Williams

All the FP programs are fun! You can spend a whole day here to experience everything! Parking is expensive though. - Mavis Li
