Drottningholm Palace is a palace Drottningholm located in Sweden.
Drottningholms slottsförvaltning 178 02 Drottningholm Sweden
The theatre is a little jewel, hard to digest so much "royal history" based on wars, lavish luxuries and robberies across Europe for the sake of glory and Ego
Sweden’s stately 17th-century royal residence, on the shore of Lake Mälaren a few miles west of the city , is surrounded by acres of parks and has gilded halls and Versailles-inspired Baroque gardens .
Drottningholm Palace is Sweden 's best preserved royal palace constructed in the seventeenth century, the permanent residence of the royal family and one of Stockholm 's three World Heritage Sites.
It was originally built in the late 16th century, and it served as a regular summer residence of the Swedish royal court for most of the 18th century.
Official royal residence of the King and Queen of Sweden . Take the Picturesque boat journey from Stadshuset. Large Baroque garden with good photography opportunities. Does a good grilled sandwich too.
Take a historical journey into the past, during your visit to the Drottninghom Palace ! As you take a walk through the palace grounds , you’re sure to witness elegance, history and so much more.
Incredible ornate palace and gardens that is worth exploring for most of the day. Be sure to check out the baroque opera house - a truly unique experience.
This really is a must see. Palace is beautiful but it's the waterside site and lush garden that really makes it worth a visit. You need half a day to really enjoy it.
So vast garden with two castles on the sides. Relaxing and enjoyable walks are recommended here ????????
Not sure if worth to visit: it is quite easy to get there by public transportation or boat tour (during summer) but the palace is not well conserved, close to a highway... If misses some magic
take the ferry (with brunch or dinner options) one way and spend a day here. Can return by bus . Also bike friendly from Stockholm
Beautiful. Even more outstanding if you take the tour - English and several other languages available.
Beautiful palace . If you're not willing to pay the entrance you can admire and walk for free in the huge gardens .
If you have the Stockholm Card walk around in the palace (you don't need the tour ). Otherwise visit the garden . It's for free. No photos allowed inside :(
The Drottningholm Palace estate is a UNESCO World Heritage listed site. Parts of the palace is open to the public, the other part is the private home of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
The garden is amazing! So good I went there twice already! So peaceful and cool! ;)

Didn't really impress me but definitely a must see if you live in Sweden
There are Chinese guided tours at 1pm every Friday (seasonal, please check off peak)

Ferry to here and back is included in the Stockholm Pass. So is the entrance fee.
Beautiful garden ! Go there by bike for a wonderful tour .
Skip this. Tour is just the guide holding up photos of paintings of what the rooms used to look like. No photos allowed- nothing to take a picture of anyway. Go for the view of the grounds for free.

Nice, but not worth the entrance fee. Just walk around it and see the gardens .
Such a gem of a palace
It’s OK here. Not the most lavish or impressive palace Blenheim in England certainly has a lot more going for it and is better priced.
a chance to spot the royal family (jk), more like the royal ducks
The queen's palace garden is beautiful.
The park is lager Then you think.
