The comfortable mahogany booths and eclectic light fixtures of Kennedy School's Courtyard Restaurant invite you to hang out, stay awhile. Transformed from an old school's cafeteria, we replaced the traditional lunch-tray offerings w/hearty pub fare, handcrafted ales brewed in the onsite brewery.

Great atmosphere, good food, but it's spendy for what they offer. Probably the neighborhood . The restaurant is clean but they have tables with grooves that definitely do NOT get cleaned (see pic).
This is where you'll want to eat while you're at the Kennedy School. Not to knock the other small bars , this is just the most complete menu.
Breakfast here is really not that awesome your better off walking down to Alberta st and getting something yummy at the many cafes that line the street.
Nice gluten free menu . Amazingly fast and friendly service . Grab a communication breakdown burger !
Incredible hummus plate appetizer .
While the burgers and sandwiches look amazing, don't overlook the bowls st the top of the menu.
This former elementary school feels like perpetual recess for kids and adults alike. On your way to the dining room, roam the halls and run around the gym .
Tons of bars and restaurants—must visit in Portland!
They serve the Ruby Ale and Terminator Stout milkshakes here.
Our service was excellent! Thanks for everything Zachary!
It turns out they'll Cajun-ize anything if you just ask them.
The same food and beer like in the bars . Prefer the boiling room
Cajun tater tots are the bomb!

Tots and cider
Fun atmosphere , cool reclaimed building, flighty service, food is blah. Come post-dinner for the bars .
The soaking pool!!!
Yyuuuuummmmm!!!
Sat outside...great atmosphere. Ordered Salmon . Unfortunately, that was bad. Really bad. Come for the drinks.
Great place, with shuffleboard and pool. Try happy hour, good bar food and beer is nice and cheap - Enrique Gutiérrez Arzate
They're going for a sort of Caribbean vibe here… great selection of rums, reggae music, etc. - Alex Brehm
Be prepared for loads of kids in this small pool at almost any time of the day or evening. Smaller and less secluded feeling than any of the other McMenamins pools. - Stephanie Chase
Half chicken adobo is perfectly done. Beers are excellent. Conscientious service too -- our server let us know he'd be on break for 10min in case we wanted something before then. - Matt Helsley
Everything Is good here but I am here for the Benedict that is only available one the weekends. I smother my hash browns in the generous issue of faux hollandaise. Meat lovers omelette is my 2nd fav - Ron Engelen
The dessert menu is house made and so large servings that they are all easy to share and most are $4.95. Huge killer Carrot cake, monster ice cream cakes, German chocolate and more. - Ron Boesl
Hotel rooms are spendy, but a neat experience - sleeping in school! I loved the big windows and the chalkboards were fun. - Erin
Enjoyed a drink and appetizers here. Very prompt, generous service! I hope to return for another visit. - Ryan Tamares
