Not sure why there are any bad reviews. Maybe management changed recently? Excellent food, atmosphere, and no dress code for lunch (like its a big deal to wear pants at dinner ).
The food here is good but the servings are generally on the small side so just order more than you think you need.
Pretty good spring roll , but it's nothing incredible and probably not homemade .. California roll was not that good tho, it's not even real crab . Service was fantastic tho !

Stay away from there, not only is the food very ordinary but they won't let in people wearing sandals or bermudas. Get serious guys this is playa del Carmen , unbelievable!!
