Zappeion Gardens

These were the old Royal Gardens . Was the scene where King Alexander was bitten by a pet monkey in 1920 & died 3 weeks latet of sepsis.

Its always worth a visit. Breath of fresh air in the centre of Athens. Don't forget to look at the different plant species and the animals that are left. Don't forget to get lost :-)
