I had omakase at the bar . Best tamago sushi ever,. they also offered a regular tamago for comparison. I just wish they had let in the two customers who walked in without a reservation , there was space

This is almost certainly the best sushi - and absolutely the best omakase - in all DC, if not the region. Lovely hidey-hole, phenomenal inago, uni, and toro . Can't stop thinking about it.

Omakase is a fast paced culinary exploration - the way it should be. It's a tidal wave of deliciousness. Be adventurous and give it a try, eat everything and you won't regret it

I've only tried the omakase experience and it was great. The sushi chef was super nice and even gave us tea cups as gifts .

The Ume sushi (7 pieces, chef 's choice, plus a roll) was phenomenal! I don't do shellfish but they were more than willing to accommodate with just fish options.
