Unbelievably fresh fish--Sushi Gold a great deal at $33 with uni and two pieces of toro among other delicious fish . Looking forward to trying the omakase . Reservations are a must (really small place).
Just had the best sushi of my life! I've traveled extensively and this sushi surpasses anything I have had before. Service was great, food was beyond exceptional.
Get the sushi and sashimi ! The appetizers are fine but only stick with the raw fish and tempura too if you are in the mood. Wonderful selection of different kinds of fatty tunas here.
Best sushi in DC . Who ever been in Japan will understand, not sure why the rating is so low:(
Good value and quality omakase sushi
Best sushi in DC - seriously! I have tried a lot of sushi . Fresh, great service, and well prepared!
Great find. Quality, delicious, reasonably priced, and excellent service. Usually won't seat parties larger than 4 people.
Excellent sushi - get omakase and go for special occasion
With stellar sashimi that surpasses the quality of higher priced competitors, sushi cap is the only logical answer for sushi lovers on the Hill
Finally quality sushi on The Hill ! If you've been filling up on all the B-grade sushi around, give this place a try--you may be amazed.
Left the restaurant feeling hungry after sharing four rolls. They're on the smaller side.
Great $9.95 lunch specials with tempura add on or seaweed salad upgrade. Good quality sashimi .
We ordered sashimi , maki , and rolls. The fish is extremely fresh. The yellowtail was like butter. Big thumbs up.
Reserve in advance by phone (they don't respond to email reservations ) or you won't get a seat!
Great sushi in D.C ????????
The uni was the freshest I've had and the taro is excellent!
Accepts credit now! Shrimp tempura roll and spicy salmon are delish
Yellowtail and fatty tuna are great. Skip the uni - it wasn’t very fresh.
No beer or wine and cash only for now. But they're like a week old, so hoping for improvements. Sushi is decent, definitely better than Young Chow Chen's down the street
Great sushi
Fresh wasabi grated/sliced straight from the root!
Best sushi in DC , bar none.
Best sushi in dc
Authentic sushi
Omakase is only available with a reservation
Undoubtedly the BEST authentic Japanese food in town. Presentation is stunning and food is immpecable. If its good enough for the Japanese Embassy.. it's definitely worth the price for the experience. - Edrea
Fresh fish and fair drink prices - Autumn Choi
Prices are now $1.50 per piece for most nigiri, but still well worth it. I recommend the white tuna, sea scallop, and my fav, lobster among the $1.50 pieces. The hamachi and uni r more but yummy. - Alan Rosenblatt
You have to try the food, it's amazing!! Everything is fresh, delicious and creative. My top favorites are the roast chicken ravioli, pork steam buns, spaghetti & meatballs & croque madame (brunch). - Ann Ta
Love this place! Open late and delicious. Hard to get a taxi late at night. - Callie C
