Lots of animals are hiding behind rocks and leaves. But the best thing of this zoo is what it is surrounded by amount of greens. The tip I can give you is that we met the best at the end of course.
It's best to come before 11:00am as the Zoo parking lot fills up early with not just people going to the Zoo also with beach goers and those visiting places in Waikiki
The zoo is a nice add to the mix of things to do in Waikiki. It's not the first thing I'd do in Waikiki, but for a change of pace, it nice to support the animals and animal awareness.
Not just birds! The keiki zoo is adorable, and I love how there are many signs telling you that you're visiting their habitat. be respectful of your animal friends!
Great playground with tons of shade and a petting zoo . The parking can get a little crazy because it's also used by beach goers . Get there early. You can bring in Drinks and food.
Park your car, note your license plate number and get the ticket at the NEAREST pay machine. Print it and display on the dashboard. Enter your phone number to extend the parking time later.
The summer concert series called "The wildest show in town " is fun for families. With a $3 donation you get to enjoy live music on the lawn. Go early and put your names in to win a free ukulele!!!
You can go pet the goats ! Lots to do here even though it's small. Peacocks roam free.
A pretty nice zoo . Be smart and come early in the morning to see the big animals. By mid-afternoon they'll all be asleep.
this zoo was a bit small than other zoo 's i've been too, but it was still fun! the scenery and animals were great.
This zoo is the only zoo in the US that was established by grants by a sovereign monarch. In the zoo you can find over 1,230 animals that are all in specially placed habitats.
Wonderful zoo ! You cannot feed the animals in the keiki petting zoo area - a lot of good reasons this isn't allow, so please understand.
Nice zoo , but many sections are often closed, usually the more popular ones like the apes. Come with the family. Discount for residents of the state !
Small, but cute . They have some animals that I haven't seen in other zoos .
Honolulu Zoo may be the best family fun value in town . The Keiki Zoo is a family favorite. Check it out if you're in Waikiki.
Surprisingly extensive collection of birds. Loved the sloth talk.
I can only compare this Zoo to Melbourne Zoo in Australia. Sadly this Zoo isn’t all that great... however, it was great to take the kids out somewhere...
It's worth it to get an annual membership...$40 for 2 adults or 1 adult & 1 child (3 & older). Kama'aina adult admission is $8 each.
The twilight tour is a great idea, however it isn't a tour of the whole zoo and it gets dark quickly making it hard to see the animals.
I never leave without visiting the Keiki zoo and petting the goats .
The zoo allows you to bring in your own food and drinks, so plan accordingly and enjoy a picnic under the trees .
Make sure you stop by the giraffes in the back!
Consider joining the zoo as a member. Crazy affordable and you also get discounts at the concession stand.
If you are there to press pennies, you can leave your ID at the front and enter without paying entrance fee!
daughter loves the kids playground inside the zoo .

At your own discretion, if your just here to eat in your car, you don't have to pay to park here. Cops roll by all the time and we never get bugged .

Parking is $1.00 per hour by license plate number . Cash or credit machines.
According to hpd. Handicapped vehicles don't have to pay for parking at zoo
Cute place, expensive snack bar though...so bring your own cool drinks . Good military discount .
Bring your own food. The snack bar is expensive .
Come in the morning, the animals are more active then!

Watch out for the random peacock sightings!
Do not go to the zoo animals shouldn't be caged against their own will. It is a crime against humanity.
Do absolutely anything & EVERYTHING!
Park here for Waikiki parking . $1/hour.
The only place that has a legal snake on oahu!
It's a zoo . Well done. Nothing special.
