Forest Park

Fall Foliage : Walk under a canopy of autumn’s rich palette of towering oaks, and an under-layer of Dogwood, Sassafras, and Cork tree , all part of the largest continuous oak forest in Queens.

Best trail in NYC hands down. I have been running here for over 10 years and have not experienced a better trail in NYC.

At 538 acres, there's hardly an activity you can't do here. The sports complex has a running track , handball court and baseball fields . There is also an 18-hole golf course and nature trails .

Nice little hidden gem in the Kew gardens area. Make sure to stay on the paths otherwise you stumble upon trash left behind by teenagers (condoms, beer cans, the works...)

Stunning park right around the corner from bustling Austin Street. Incredible. It's like a different world.

Wonderful park . Plenty of tables, but there are table hogs. Come early.

Uncrowded NYC park . Great for walking, biking , and roller blading . Live concerts at Bandshell with parking , weather permitting.

A beautifully landscaped park ideal for morning jog ,walking the pooch or simply walking with the one you're with ,and pretty safe too.

Right after it snows, when the first warm day happens, talk a walk here. You'll see more activity than almost anyplace in Kew Gardens/Forest Hills , even the LIRR at rush hour!

Bike rides are awesome. Great place to walk after it snows.
