The Duquesne Incline reminds me of the movie Flashdance. If you're familiar with Pittsburgh and the movie you'll see Alex riding one of the Duquesne Incline cable cars when she goes to visit Hannah ????
This is my daily commuting vehicle, but a favorite among tourists . It's $4.50 round trip for adults ($2.70 kids), but worth every penny for the WOW factor. Must have EXACT change though.

Must visit, get a taste of local history with a great view of three rivers and the city skyline at the top.
Cheap fun ride and view and opened late .
One of best views ever seen. The bridges , three rivers , surrounding hills , Fall colors, it's all right there! Watch yourself rise above it a old-school, historic wooden incline car .
I’m told this is a must do when in Pittsburgh. Be prepared for a long wait on the way back up depending on the day.
Definitely worth the price. The ride itself is not the attraction though. The view of the city is. Don't miss the great food in this neighborhood either.
Gift shop has beautiful Pgh memorabilia...special mention of the pens with floating inclines $3.50+ & handcrafted plates from Wendell August Forge that are extremely affordable & high quality!!
