Best venue in Iowa period! Try to get as close as you can to the front, it makes the experience even better, you feel so immersed!
Get season tickets . Seriously. For a little more than you pay for one show, you can go to 5-7 shows at astonishingly affordable prices . Park at 5th and Walnut -- it's hardly used on show nights.
Wonderful venue with a lot throughout the year!
Lots of memories playing alto sax here for the Iowa Jazz Competition held each year. Listen to a variety of cool, swingin' high school jazz bands !
Great venue, we are a lucky community. John Prine concert was great...except they didn't get the sound system right...was almost like static...
If you're going to see Wicked come 2 1/2 hours early and try your luck at the lottery . We got a pair of orchestra seats for $25 each! Cash on hand a must.
There are always interesting (and usually locally-produced) shows in the Stoner Theater , in the basement here.
I attended the April in Paris symphony with Cellist Camille Thomas. Excellent performance !!
Great venue for both Broadway road shows and concerts !

I went to see Book of Mormon here! If you're a bigger person the seats are a tight squeeze, though.
Enjoyed a performance of "Beautiful" a Carole King Musical ???? (last night)
Mr. Valli was AMAZING & AWESOME! A GREAT entertainer! We had a terrific time!!
Hardly a bad seat in the house. Great place for a date
The StageWest season ticket is a great value . They do thought-provoking, fun performances at the Civic Center's Stoner Theater .
Not a bad seat in the house...except the one you didn't buy.
They sell Chocolate Storybook goodies at the concessions! Yum! Do it!
I am often here for work and never have a bad experience. Enjoy their staff , the performances , and connecting with other people in the arts here.
Try and get seats lower than doors E4&W4
Symphony sounds just as good in a $15 seat.
Frankie Valli - his Four Seasons were cute .
The seating effing SUCKS here. Old man after old man climbs over you and trips on your feet. The seats are so effing narrow it's awkward as f@*k to try and stand up to let people pass.
For many musicals the seating is better in the back for acoustics .
Book of Mormon , fantastic production!
Les Misérables is AMAZING!!!
Yo Gabba Gabba was fantastic
No bad seats .
I thought Wicked was a good show. I did not find myself humming any tunes as I left. This will most likely be the only time I see this production.
Blue man group
Great shows!!!
See wicked ! was a great performance !

Everything is good here! You cannot go wrong with any of their pizzas. But I really love their crab rangoons. - Melissa B
