Beautiful and elegant lobby. Starbucks inside. Across the street is the majestic theater ! Riverwalk is near and all the historical places that make San Antonio a great place to visit!

Hotel is undergoing an extensive refurb, but the work is well hidden. Lobby is almost finished and guest rooms are nicely updated. Two blocks from the Riverwalk . Amazing staff . Will stay again.

Very historical and elegant. Ask about all of the historical aspects! It's very interesting! There is a bar dedicated to a famous jazz musician .

Robert Johnson, the inimitable blues guitarist, recorded his only session here, in room 414. If you listen to any modern blues , rock, or bluegrass guitarist, you're listening to Johnson's influence.

Unbelieveable view from this corner suite, windows surround you every direction you turn and the downtown never looked any better!! Absolutely beautiful, extremely classy yet amazingly comfortable !

Beautiful hotel in a great place. Rooms are a little outdated, the bathroom was cramped and the enamel was flaking off in the shower , but staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed super comfy !

Thurston at the concierge desk is awesome...if you need info on anything in the area he is the man to ask! Steve the bellhop is also wonderful and a good resource for where to go and what to do!

En suite bathroom is cramped, but it's an older building. Everything was clean though. Small, limited, but clean fitness center . They can hook you up with a nearby gym for more workout options.

Room 620 is the best bang for your buck! Apparently, it is a one of a kind room in the hotel as it has a separate living room.

Barber shop in basement best in the West. Old fashioned offering shaves, shoe shine , & a terrific legacy. Haircut , shave, shampoo (so you can go straight to work) & shoe shine costs $41.00! Call

Supposedly a murder was committed in room 636 on Feb. 2, 1965 and the room is haunted to this day. The hotel is a stop on the Ghost Tour that meets at 9pm at the gazebo at Alamo Plaza .

Yes, dated but charming building built in 1909 with moden updates. Super nice staff from valet to housekeeping .

Toilet seat broken, toilet leaking, and light out in the entry of room.. For the expensive price I expected more for sure.. I'm typically a Hilton loyal and now I know why!

The hotel only offers pricey valet parking ($28/night), but there is a public garage across Travis Street that charges $8/night.
