Take a picture of the map before you leave the parking lot . You can switch trails without even noticing it especially if you are taking in the beautiful scenery as you walk.
Worth spending a couple of hours seeing the red rocks and beauiful views . Don't hesitate to go there..check out the balanced rock too.

There are great trails here. Many come to see the sandstone rock formations . It's the Touristy thing to do. To be blunt, it's just red rocks, not the most interesting thing in the world :) but stop by
Great place to take a hike . Can be busy, especially in the summer -- be sure to give yourself enough time to enjoy it, while being considerate and patient with others.
Be sure to stop by the Welcome Center and pick up a free map. The staff will gladly point out the popular spots to visit. If you go in the fall/winter, bring a jacket !
Take the time to drive all roads within the park . Then be sure to visit the Balance Rock area at the South West end of the park as its an amazing place within GOG!
Great place to spend a few hours with family and my pup Trouble Boy. Looking at the rock formations beautiful beyond belief.
The all-time classic. This is an iconic spot not just for The Springs, but for Colorado as a whole. Lovely walks all throughout.
It's an awesome place. Man feels himself in the first days of the existence of the world. Be mindful of your clothes when you come here. Make sure you have something with you to take a photo with.
Add this to your Co to do list! Great place to take the family for a hike . If you're an experienced climber , bring your gear. If you aren't a climber , you will still have fun. Bring a camera & water.
The park is free…and you’ll be amaze with the historic and beauty of it…thanks to General William Jackson Palmer convinced his friend Charles Perkins
This beautiful place is one if the most amazing spots of Colorado Springs. If you visit our lovely and fast paced city you must visit this area for sure. Free vacation spot and rocks to climb
Incredible natural beauty. A must see in Colorado Springs. Great easy hike , fantastic picture opportunity. Free of charge!
We need more public spaces like this, which are free to THE PUBLIC. I adore this place. I recommend taking a leisurely walk with a friend or family member :)
It's all about the great outdoors and surreal views . Wear comfy trainers , get a water bottle with you and enjoy the hike !
If you going in the winter make sure to cover your face. And have really good gloves on.
We came early and ate on some rocks overlooking a valley. By midday though it was really hot without shade. Otherwise it was breathtaking very often.
The park was given to Colorado Springs in 1909 by the children of railroad magnate Charles Perkins, to keep it free and open to the public. Watch this C-SPAN video for more info. Read more
Don't ask how the rock climbers get the rope up there. They use technical gear & clip into the bolts in the rock. A "lead climber " has to climb the rock while a belayer assists from the ground.
If you like Longboarding arrive early before cars and have the pleasure of Longboarding on a very beautiful place. The balance rock is a good place for downhill slide . Remember to wear your helmet
My favorite parts were the hiking trails and the drive up rampart range road . The rest is cool, but these 2 add-ons take the trip to the next level
Good place for a familly walk or to start climbing .
Free admission is rare and truly appreciated. Gorgeous park . Kissing Camels and Balanced Rock are only two of the many highlights.
If you're in Colorado Springs and have a few hours to kill, this is an amazingly beautiful place to do so.
Could someone please shoot a photo/pic of Pikes Peak from Garden of the Gods where Pikes Peak is seen between the red rocks at the garden ? I would very much appreciate it :)
The hikes . Wildlife . Depending on the time, sunsets and sunrises are beautiful there. I love photography and this is a great place for that :)
Beautiful rock formations - both sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous. Took our 8 yr.old grand daughter and she loved it ,as well as a little climbing .
There are so many hiking trails to choose from, FYI horses are allowed on most of them so watch your step!
Scenic ! Great hiking trails though avoid the horse trails unless you want to spend your time watching for horse poop instead of looking at the scenery.
You can drive through, but park in one of the lots and hike . It's better views and less crowded .
It's very pretty, it's family friendly , it's accessible, they have a large visitor center - but it's also touristy so don't expect to be out in the wilderness here
Great place to get lost with your own thoughts and appreciate the beauty and splendor of Nature
Beautiful and free! As a family, we love hiking there. Even if you just drive through the park , you'll be amazed.
I wonderful site, great for the outdoors lovers, great for kids, great for picture taking and best of all its free!

This National Natural Landmark offers admission to some memorable scenery, featuring unusual sandstone rock formations up to 300 feet high silhouetted against the deep blue sky.
It's cool to see but it seems like if you're not there to rock climb it's not all that exciting. That could also be because I like hiking over walking on paved trails .
Beautiful scenery everywhere you look! And the park is always free :)
A must-see if in the Denver area. Good hiking but you can also drive through it. It's free and reminded me of Sedona, AZ.
Beautiful great experience the rock formations are amazing and the trail was awesome!
A lot of good opportunities to take pictures while climbing on the rocks. The views were amazing.
Gorgeous! Beautiful views all around! Definitely bring water, especially in the summer!

Great place for a photo, if you can time it right. When it's in season, it can be hard to get the shot you want because of all the people climbing around... so be warned! - Ellie
