Almost didn't go to see this because of time but so glad we did. It was amazing as well as a great history lesson. I enjoyed seeing where the different cowboy styles originated. Bucket list must do!
Spectacular museum , give yourself at least 2 hours to tour it all! Captures the spirit, history, and romanticism of the American West. Yeehaw!
Check out Prosperity Junction ! It transports you to an early 1900s Western cattle town at dusk. Sounds, replicas, & ambiance = super cool. (But since it was dark, this pic is the museum entryway.)
Really great museums . Paintings of western life, Native American life, rodeo exhibits , cowboy exhibits , Native American exhibits , and a walk through Western town . I was very impressed.
Chicken Salad at Dining on Persimmon Hill is a-mazing! Be sure to keep an eye out for Tuesdays at Sundown and stop by the Dickinson Research Center for more info about museum and Western history.

Lots of historical ranching artifacts , including an exhibit on barbed wire.
