We’ve been here twice and the steak is amazing!!! You can easily cut it with a fork and the flavor is great! The baked potato came out cold and was not up to my standards but that’s my only complaint.
Nowadays, Cattlemen's is the best place in town for steak and potatoes--and, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, the calamari-like fried lamb testicles. Hey, when in Oklahoma... Read more
Four of us for wife's birthday...filets, sirloins and lamb fries all wonderful. "Billy Jack" our waiter was attentive and quite the character. Coconut cream pie slice, to share, was great as well .
Have the breakfast steak and eggs with home made biscuits and gravy . Order the steak medium rare and smother with their house salsa . Now that that how breakfast in OKC is done!
Gorgeous steaks , lush shrimp , amazing Mac and cheese , loved the bread rolls and baked potato (better than big Texan steak ranch (Amarillo) if your travelling the Route 66)
Recommend their Double Deuce. If you like steak or beef I Recommend this restaurant . Cattlemen's is believed to be the oldest restaurant in Oklahoma, going since 1910 with a fascinating history.
Came back today and the waiter was amazing! Steak was great as always and this time the baked potato was warm. Strawberry short cake was great too.
Everything is good here! Try the lamb fries and the mac and cheese for an appetizer ! The blue ribbon is always amazing and won't disappoint.
The steaks are amazing. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite restaurant in OKC.

I came here because of all the great reviews, but everyone who's commented must be Oklahoman! As a Texan, I shouldn't have expected any better than what I can get back home. The service is excellent.
I went against the grain and ordered shrimp . My boyfriend got "The Presidential" and loved it, but liked his dad's steak more when he tried it. His dad ordered a ribeye and said it was really juicy.
Best steak in the world. Get the blue ribbon cut and don't be afraid of the lamb fries .
Excellent! T-bone (medium rare, perfectly done), rolls, loaded baked potato and house dressing . Was told the current owner won the place in poker!
Order the Blue Ribbon steak for a higher quality steak . Get mushrooms on the side and always order the house dressing for your 1980's style salad .
It's all great ! can't go wrong.. even with lamb fries . Can't get any fresher with the stockyards next door... even though they age their beef to perfection ! :-)
The Blue Ribbon Ribeye is an amazing cut of meat. Best ribeye I've ever had!
Definitely a great meal if you're headed west. My Memphis friends will understand this: Cattleman's is to steak what Rendezvous is to BBQ . And also some great Western shops nearby! Boots baby!
Amazing food. Great service. Try the lamb fries . Get the T-bone. Really a staple of Oklahoma food.
Epic and legendary... had the lamp fries and I'm a fan. This place is old school and main street. Perfect.
Love the small filet and amazing house dressing ! Also has the best steak soup !!!
Order lunch special . House dressing . Steak medium well . Watch out for Irma. She''ll tell you she's been working here for years & knows what she's doing, sir! :)
Lamb fries were delicious. The small filet was more than enough. And, the coconut meringue pie was a yummy ending.
Everything! Also ask for BillyJack - best waiter west of the Mississippi! Worth the wait!
I remember going to Cattleman's as a kid after church with my grandparents. Great food! #debbiewestman
Blue Ribbon Prime Cut special was fantastic, but check the price first, it might be more than you bargained for.
I thought it was great! I tried the salmon and burgers .My hubby loved his steak . It's really good

Yours for the price of Admission that: I don't know, I might have got it wrong, I might have been selfish, I really cannot do anything to deserve it. I Need Help. please Help me GOD. ;~PB
Ask for a cherry coke/diet coke . They'll make it for you with grenadine and a maraschino cherry . Delicious!!
The steak , the hotcakes... Top notch.
Try the lamb fries , and the ribeye .
Umm? Steak . Best steak in Oklahoma, hands down.
Incredible steaks !!! A must visit when in OK City .
Stick with the filet or Tbone . Perfect. The house dressing is awesome as well .
Ask for a side of au jus. Dip the steamed veggies in it.
Good food as long as you don’t get chicken fried anything. The coating they use makes it taste like sand.
Come for the classic diner 's history, booths , counters and staff . Food was adequate. The fries were the highlight.
Try the house beer . Unfiltered!
Guy Fieri rolled up to Cattlemen's, where they've been serving classic steaks , desserts and salad dressings for more than 80 years. Read more
Steaks prepared well . Friendly service . Great atmosphere.
The steak melts in your mouth! But that house salad dressing ... YES!
The steaks are perfectly done to your taste! No sauces needed!
Check my profile, I travel around the world. I rarely leave a neg. comment. Despite all the TV shows that praise it, this is one of the worst steaks I've ever had! Denny's is better! HORRIBLE! Avoid!
Blue Ribbon Special! Prime cut meat, the most tender beef out there!
The small filet is wrapped in bacon , and while the smallest cut on the menu, very good & filling. Don't forget an order of the lamb fries !
The house dressing is the greatest dressing it goes good on the loaded baked potato too
All the servers do a fantastic job here. We had a great experience with Grayson this afternoon.
Breakfast buffet until 11am... All the biscuits you can enjoy with scrambled eggs !
This is what a true steak is all about. The Filets are amazing, Service is on point & never intrusive. It's a little pricey so be prepared....but the total experience is worth it! Best money spent! - Victor Veturis
