If you're in a rush & its super busy... you need to have the Apple Store App- Use Easy Pay, scan your item and it charges to you Apple/iTunes account & you no need to even check out with a sales rep.

If you need to swap your iPhone (if you're within 30 days) buy AppleCare+ first before you swap your iPhone because if not you'll have to call Apple and try to buy it over the phone if you're lucky.

Something wrong with your iPhone and it can't be fixed? Ask for Kevin he'll order you a CRU = brand new iPhone never opened or used. They keep box/accessories you keep your new iPhone .

If you have a 2hour wait for the Genius Bar , walk over to Arthur's bottom floor of Belk's and get blotto on glasses of wine .

Make sure you make your appointment online. The walk in wait time is long (IF they even take you). And be on time. That cancel after 5 minutes.

Apple has a new security feature on their system for the App Store/iTunes. If you get a popup and it tells you to contact iTunes Support call 1-800-Apple-Care. Tell them to unblock your account.

You now need to reserve a specialist to get assistance here. Use the iPad next to each station - tap the Specialist button to get in line . Someone won't necessarily tell you this ahead of time.

If you know you bought Apple Care but they can't see it. Call Apple you may have typed in the SN wrong and be off 1 digit.

If you get Apple Care Plus you no longer can walk in and get your phone replaced there's a $95 deductible. Sadly those days are gone & they don't tell you this.

Apple dress code extends from the neck to the waist. Anything else is fair game, guy wearing the Wampa hat.

Use the Apple Store app to purchase what you need, far quicker than waiting for someone to help you check out.

Sometimes their customer service is fantastic. Most of the time three players will stand around talking to each other and ignore you.

The personal checkout using the iPhone & iOS Apple Store app is phenomenal. Scan anything in the store & pay using your iTunes account, holy crap guys, it's officially the future.

Immediately check in on the iPad if you need assistance, esp if they are busy. Their customer checkout system is FLAWED!

When you make a Genius Reservation put that you want to see Kevin in the comments section of the reservation .

Need to charge your device while waiting? Ask them for a cable and if they have room there are recepticals under the "Personal Training " tables.

Walk in with your wallet in hand and look at the biggest computer they have... you will get help right away and can redirect to whatever it was you were there for.

Making a genius bar appointment is easy... Apple actually honoring that appointment, well be ready to wait 30 minutes plus.

Love the Geniuses. These guys know their stuff.

Could it have been any more crowded ? Holy smokes. Great store. Great service but you literally could barely fit into the store.

Stop by before 10am or after 8pm for the best service (w/o feeling rushed)

If you have an appt at the Bar , don't show up late.

It takes way to long to get tech support and they are condescending.

Worst Apple Store experience ever- and I've been in stores in SF, NYC, Chicago, Albany & more. Was there for an hour and not one staffer came to ask me if I needed help. Which I did. Two thumbs down!

They price match up to 10%.

Caution: "smug-ness" levels are thru the roof at this store. Employees are experts at looking at you like you're dumb..

Do not get a replacement iPhone from Apple they are refurbished and more sensitive to water damage. Better off buy a gently used one off eBay.

Tuesday night after 6pm is the least crowded time to browse & evaluate their products. Never attempt to do this on a Saturday.
