#FabuLIST #DubiDO if you can't decide on one pancake you can order them individually. Pancakes are small. Loved the banana bread pudding one with cinnamon syrup . Hash browns and eggs are delicious.
Blueberry pancakes : delicious n they're generous on the blueberries n compote. Hash browns : OMG! A littlr coconutty n crispy . Sweet potato pancakes : if ur not into cinnamon , maybe skip this.
The surprising Sweet Potato Pancakes are tasty and melt in your mouth. Weekends are crazy at the Pantry, and the waiting line usually wraps around the building down 21st Avenue, so be prepared. Read more
Tried this place for the first time and ordered the banana bread pancakes . Absolutely delicious! Hands down the best I've ever had. Will definitely be back! The presentation was also top-notch.
This true house of pancakes has hordes of devoted followers lining up every morning to get their fill of everything from sweet potato to Santa Fe cornmeal pancakes . [Eater 18 Member]
Try the village smithy at least once. And be adventurous, add some maple syrup to a bite. It might seem like a weird idea at first, but I promise if you try it just once, you won't regret it! :)
One of Nashville's most legendary breakfast spots . Lines can get long on the weekends. The "Sugar and Spice" pancakes are most definitely worth the wait!
The line was faster than I thought it would be! Best pancakes I've ever had, hands down. I was having a hard time deciding between two styles of pancakes and the waitress let me do half of each!
Go as EARLY as possible whatever day you go, even weekdays! The line is always out the door, but it’s completely worth it. Amazing pancakes with so many options! 😋🥞
The Tennessee salt cured country ham : Salty, but oh so good. Specially in contrast with the sweetness of the cakes . Coffee not so great, it's the diner kind.
From Thursday through Sunday, the best waitress in the world, Mary, works the early shift. Tell her I said hello. My wife loves the spice (ginger ) pancakes . I go with the buttermilk traditional kind.
Worth queuing for! Even though queue seems to be much smaller weekdays after lunch time. The pancakes are outrageously amazing. Coffee too which was a surprise.
These people know how to make a pancake . I had the sweet potato pancakes , and they were worth the hype. Good syrup too. The eggs and hashbrowns were done well too.
One of those crazy popular places which is actually worth the wait! Don't underestimate – we waited 30 mins on a Monday. Free parking at the back (with ticket). Go for SW & sweet potato pancakes !!
Get here before 8 on a weekday for NO LINE ! Also, can get a half order of cakes of you ask. And, if you get an egg meal you can get 2 specialty pancakes instead of 3 buttermilk . Enjoy!
Wait on a Saturday at 9:30 was 30-35 min. Pecan pancakes were awesome; shared them as a group. Omelettes were just ok; Grilled Medley was above average
This place definitely lives up to its hype. Was not disappointed! Best grits we've ever had. The blintzes melt in your mouth. Heck, even the ice in their drinks are superior!
Believe the hype and stay in line . Sweet potato pancakes are 👌. Use the cinnamon cream syrup that they recommend. The bacon is great too.
FYI, as long as they are both stacks of 5 pancakes you can mix and match 3 from one type and 2 from another. Great way to try two that you can't decide between!
Order a variety of the specialty pancakes a la carte (1 of each of 3 or 4.) Get at least one sweet potato . Worth the wait and lived up to the hype. Hashbrowns are great too!
The wait in line is totally worth it for a place with the best selection of pancakes ! Absolutely delicious. If you are in Nashville, this is a must-visit!
The sweet potato pancakes are slices of heaven on a plate! #pancakepantry @nashoriginals
The best pancakes EVER! I got the raspberry delight but everyone I was with ordered something different and agreed these are the best pancakes ever.
The wait in line is worth it. Actually, with the right people in line , it's fun in its own right! The place is called the Pancake Pantry...order pancakes for goodness' sake .
Without a doubt the best breakfast in Nashville, but watch out for a line around the block on Sunday morning. Blueberry pancakes are a personal favorite but the omelettes are not to be forgotten
Get a half order of 2 different types of pancakes so you can try both--- I did 3 sweet potato pancakes and 1 choc sin with raspberry . So delicious!
Wear comfortable shoes if you want to taste their pancakes ! The line to get in is about an hour long. However, they do have a drink station outside that has water, milk , and coffee !
Best pancakes I've ever had in my life. Sweet Potato Pancakes with cinnamon sugar syrup tastes like pumpkin pie . Epic. Long lines ...but worth the wait.
Not sure if worth the wait in the permanent long line outside.... but still GREAT! Pancakes were ok, but the french toast was definitely something else
Sweet potato pancakes are a go to w a tall glass of milk . Very filling though and good to share if you don't want to stuff yourself!
Def worth the long wait you will have no matter what day. Service is good and food is amazing! Great low prices too!
my boyfriend hates pancakes but i still thought he was a fool for not ordering ANY and going for the "tennessee country ham " instead. turns out i was the fool; that ham was beyond excellent.
Great food! Be prepared to stand in line , but it's worth the wait! Sugar & Spice Pancakes and Big Patty Breakfast were so yummy & filling!
A Nashville tradition for years! The wait in line outside is totally worth it! Get the chocolate chip pancakes-and yummy hash browns !
Get here early to avoid the wait. The line can wrap around the front of the building, even on a Tuesday morning! Get the sweet potato pancakes with the cinnamon cream syrup .
Best hangover cure there is. Only complaint is the long lines . Try everything, but whatever you do, don't skip their bacon .
Country ham , always a plus. Buttermilk pancakes , fluffy and delish. Oh, free parking in back, score!
The small appetite plate is awesome. The perfect amour of food! Substitute sweet potato pancakes (you get 2 instead of 4!) Yum!
Try Medley for a salty start and don't miss sweet potato pancakes with cinnamon syrup and blueberry ones!
A tough sell for me with a kid given the line , but if you can swing it to tolerate an hour+ wait, it WILL pay off. The menu makes up what it lacks in ambience. Also try Pfunky Griddle.
It takes much longer for large groups to get seated: split into pairs and sneak in front of the big parties, they'll notice and call you in.
Everything ! Can't describe how good is the pancakes 😍
Pancakes and has towns are good. I had the banana bread pancakes . The bacon was good but not great like others rave about. It's not worth the line of its longer than 15 people.
if you aren't a big eater, order your pancakes ala carte. the full order of sweet potato pancakes was delicious, but i only ate about 2/5 of them!
Oh my goodness. The food was amazing here. It's going on my list for every time I'm in Nashville.
Chocolate chip pancakes with the cinnamon cream syrup were amazing.
Georgia peach pancakes were great. Large portions and great service!
Lemon apricot pancakes are smothered in lemon glaze as well as stuffed with it. If you're diabetic or have a fear of becoming diabetic stay away from that choice.
Had chocolate chip and classic buttermilk pancakes . They were great! Didn’t like their hot chocolate . Stick to coffee
OOOOOMMMMGGGGGG! those were THE best pancakes i've had in a long while. please try the caribean ones- hey mon!!!!!!
