The Parthenon stands proudly as the centerpiece of Centennial Park, Nashville's premier urban park. The re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena is the focus of the Parthenon just as it was in ancient Greece. The building and the Athena statue are both full-scale replicas of the Athenian originals.

The statue of Athena is unexpectedly large and startlingly colorful when you first encounter it. The building's facade is very impressive set in the sedate greenness of the park
The full scale replica of the actual Parthenon is very impressive and a must visit when in Nashville. Inside is a colossal statue of Athena with gilded gold. Closed on mondays.
The Parthenon was built in 1897 as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition and is located in Centennial Park . It's definitely worth making the trip to see if passing through or visiting Nashville.
this replica is so cool!! Really big and gorgeous up close, the inside is also great and worth the $6 entrance fee to see Athena !
This is a great place to share, learn, take photos, and relax. Next best thing to being in Greece. The staff are very nice, it's the exact replica as to the Parthenon in Athens .
The museum is definitely worth the entry price, $6 per person. The paintings inside are beautiful. 'A day at the exposition ' exhibit paints a lifelike picture of ancient times.
Not the original as in Athens. But actually better because you can see the beauty and what it looked like originally. Truly same size and neat to visit. Don't forget the gardens in the spring.
Everything. I may be partial being pagan and loving other multi god religions, but it was a phenomenal experience. Brilliant art , and the actual Parthenon , Athena , and busts were amazing
The sheer size of this structure as well as the Athena statue inside was breathtaking. Downstairs exhibit was also unique and cool, although no photos allowed in the exhibit hall.
Full scale replica of the Parthenon. I recommend taking a hour or two take in the art exhibits and of course the statue of Athena .
Incredible building - the only full-scale replica outside Greece. The Athena statue inside is beautiful and very impressive.
Great place & worth the stop. Was surprisingly more art & things to look at than we had anticipated there to be. Anticipate spending 1-2 hours if you like art .
Gorgeous!!! It's absolutely worth it to pay the $6 to see the statue of Athena . Very serene and beautiful
Beautiful park with lots of walking and festivals
Before Nashville was "Music City " it was called the "Athens of the South" due to the large number of universities in the city . Get here by hopping off our Music City Trolley Hop!
The museum is large in scale, but small with information and displays. It was a nice visit, but don’t want to visit multiple times.
Pretty amazing and of course a little weird to find this in the heart of Nashville. Definitely worth seeing.
Really enjoyed doing this once. I don't think I'll ever do it again, but one visit is definitely worth it, and it's pretty reasonably priced.
Beautiful museum , breathtaking scenery around! This place is a must in Nashville!
Nashville was often called “The Athens of the South,” and to give a visual to this nickname, the Parthenon was built as part of a centennial celebration in 1897. Read more

For those wondering what the hell a replica of the Greek Parthenon is doing in Tennessee, visit this. Your questions won't be answered but visit it anyway.
This is a great deal! As of writing this, the admission was $6. To do the whole thing doesn't take that long, and it was very impressive to see.
The Parthenon at 20 miles to the north of Dental Bliss Franklin
Really cool monument in the middle of a park . Totally accessible by car.
Great park . Good walk/run/jog and scenery.
The museum is closed on Mondays but it's still cool to see the outside. I wonder what Athena thinks of it.
The Athena statue was pretty awesome and the park was beautiful! :)
The museum inside is really nice and the statue of Athena is amazing
The centerpiece of Centennial Park , Nashville's Parthenon is an exact replica of the Parthenon in Athens .

One of the coolest historical reproductions around. This replica has historical significance of its own, too! :-)
Unique. Not to be missed
Be sure to visit the beautiful gardens in the park , too.
We stopped in on a road trip down to Texas from New Jersey and it looks the same as in the movie Percy Jackson and the Lightning thief!
If you can't get to Greece, Nashville's Parthenon is definitely the way to go!
I'm not real impressed with the current art exhibit , but there will be something different to see, the next time we go.
An amazing and surprising sight to see. Strange, but strangely impressive.
Go see Athena in the basement .
