Excellent restaurant (and small bar ). For years was my local hangout in Cambridge, though it was much more casual then than it is now. Still a favorite of mine any time I'm ion Cambridge!

The focaccia bread is SO. GOOD. the baby kale salad is great.
If the weather is good get a table on the pretty patio . There are cozy spots near the fireplace .
The staff turnover rate is low meaning that it's a happy place. Always bodes well for good food and service.
The sweet potato something something noodle appetizer is out of this world. So good.
This is the place where you have dinner with your parents, your graduating kids or your significant other if that significant other is from Harvard. Cozy , quiet , elegant service. No surprises.
Excellent breakfast . Everything is organic . Service is very efficient.

I came for restaurant week and loved it! Amazing desserts
The most underrated restaurant in the square, pretty much everything is great, but especially skin-on fish if it's on the menu.
Venison was fantastic.
Sit on the bar side and get to choose from bar AND main menus.
Food is great but fairly heavy on calories so take it easy. Service and staff is boarderline slow and could be friendlier.
Get the basil tagliatelle and peach cake
Request the table next to the fireplace on a chilly night!
Sit outside if you can--but watch out for falling...acorns?
Best burger in town . Have it at the bar .
Market vegetable frittata is pretty sick. Get it.
