It's a little scary your first time because it's the army. Make sure you have your ID out and ready. You MUST drive the speed limit while on base. Can't stress that enough...

The guards can get you through quicker of you have everything ready that the need to check

I've found the guards to all be very polite, I'll stop for a minute to talk with them. Keep in mind their first job is security though!

Watch out for deer in the Fall months. They'll stand in the road and make you drive around them

As long as you're polite you won't have a problem

Bring ID and registration and you'll get through quickly. We promise.

Watch out for the giant pothole when you leave base.

Make sure and bring proper ID. They'll turn you away without it.

They shut down the left turn lane when the gate is closed.
