Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA)

I have never had a more pleasant experience at any other location. This was much quicker than anticipated!

Okay, okay, it feels like this is a pretty decent office . But this is the fifth time I've tried to get a license, and MVA workers/supervisors challenge most of my documents! Maryland is a little nuts !

Recommend coming between 4-430, right before they close. Line dies down then (at least for building B, drivers licenses ). Come earlier and it will be packed.

Do as much as you can online to avoid coming here. There is a line around the building even at 8am.

Come prepared! Know before you go.

I went to turn in some vehicle tags. I was in and out within 15 minutes!

Go to another MVA (like Annapolis or other further out location), and get there 30 minutes before they open. Its your best bet.

This use to be the fast spot not anymore my miner is g80 they only up to g72 and the place is packed. I've been told that Annapolis is the place to go

Might as well bring all forms of identification you can to prevent looking like a complete chode searching for one… or being rejected… Maryland laws and regulations are dated and need to be changed

Not sure what everyone is complaining about. Go to the essex MVA... THAT is hell. This place is great!!!

DMV is never fun but these are the nicest and most helpful workers I've encountered in the 3 states I've lived in...

Fast, friendly and efficient... get there when they open and you will barely wait.

It's always crowded & very hard to find parking . Think early

Don't come here at lunch time .they have one person working at the information deck n only 6 counters open n the line is out the door no where to set :((

Every time I'm here I get fast,fun & friendly service-this trumps any MVA I've been too.

Arrive befire 8 am to get in line . Still a wait but it's better than being at the end of the line

Be patient and everything will go smoothly! It's really not that bad.

Parking here is absolutely horrible ....just sayin!

Awful parking . You have to keep circling for an open parking space . Lack of adequate handicap spots. Staff could be a bit friendlier.

UGH place is crowed bathroom nasty bring a book cuz you will be here awhile

Use the kiosk if you can! Saved me time and frustration!

Be sure you have all the proper papers

Read carefully what is an acceptable document. The check in people are rude and unhelpful concerning this and have no problem letting you leave if you don't have what they say. There are many options.

There is additional parking in the back.

If you just need your drivers license renewed or tags don't come here. They take forever.

The bathrooms are nasty and the workers lack social graces. Show up early and smile!
