Try tgeir Foie gras , ribeye , and/or chicken thigh with leek . Their cold angel hair capellini with roe was yummilious. They have an extensive sake selection as well .

Kin Hoe Lee

The grilled food is generally good. Sake and the golden ale are good too. Had the truffles angel hair pasta and squid too. Both are excellent, especially the former. Highly recommended.

Ribeye yakitori , foie gras was heavebly and prawn yakitori was amazing. You can expect consistency with Shuunju. Try angel hair and roe capellini !

Awesome place for a happy hour . Seats outside , delicious grilled options ( foie grad and cheese rolled with pork are my favorites) and super nice sake menu.

All the grilled skewers are tasty, even classics like chicken wings . I didn't like the oyster omelette too bland. Service crew are super friendly . This can be one of my favourite restaurant 😋🥰

Marjorie C

You genuinely can’t go wrong with whatever you order but chicken meatball with egg yolk is a cannot miss.

Stacy Seah

Grilled onigiri (shoyu kushiyaki onigiri ) is excellent! Nice and crispy on the outside, moist in the center. Must try!

Saudade

Love the fresh cabbage , grilled stingray and almost everything we ordered was good. Like the sake which the waitress recommended. Only minus was when it got more crowded , it was hard to get attention

Povege

The chef gave us a tasty free salad because the waitresses were too busy to take our orders. Sashimi was fresh and we enjoyed our dinner .

Genrei Gassan junmai daiginjyo from Yamagat (330ml) $59. Sweet medium bodied. Easy to drink

Cheen The Curious

Toilets . None in the restaurant . You have to walk into an alley nearby (less than 50 steps) & find this hole in the wall . Gents & ladies are here

Cheen The Curious

Scallop rolled with pork is yummy! Love the smokiness

Cheen The Curious

Grilled dried puffer fish tastes like a softer, fishy version of “bak kwa” (BBQ dried meat, popular locally) — sweet & smoky

Celine Ong

Great place for izakaya , well worth it if you are looking for quality but the waiting time is rather long. Not for the impatient and hungry souls.

Cheen The Curious

Meat bar served with raw egg was interesting and flavourful

Stacy Seah

Victoria

Bianca Bueno

Goose Liver ! Ask the wait staff for what kind of sake would good.

Bianca Bueno

No Line if you come early. Skewers are perfect!

If you like salt, this is the best place to eat. All the meat is salty. If you want extra salt, dip into the sauces. Very good if you have high blood pressure. Chicken balls is dry, tori q is better.
