Gem of gourmet Italian spot that feels like a hip diner . Great flavors. They're famous for the pasta but all the veggie dishes I had were awesome
Went with my lady (mom) and enjoyed the food and experience. Sitting at the bar watching the action is fun, but would have been a better date spot . Negroni is amaze... get a few
The space is as beautiful and brilliant as the food. Excellent wine list . I wasn't crazy about the Italian cocktails but that's just a personal preference.
The service was excellent The pasta dishes were perfect. The appetizers were delish and the desserts , esp. rhubarb bread pudding , were yummy. I would go back tomorrow if I want headed home.
Must eat: Potato Gnocchi . It's a would-be humble dish of potato pasta , mushroom ragu and peas , if not for the luxurious addition of juicy lobster . We’re not complaining. Read more
I had the spicy tomato soup and potato gnocchi . It was delicious. I had lunch early because in half an hour I have to teach Sunday School. Definitely coming back here.
Braised rabbit pasta was delicious! Didn't really enjoy sitting on stools for dinner however. Come with a party of three or more and you can ask for a real table.
Our dream dinner party features one course with a tasting of all of Barbara Lynch ’s pastas…with at least two bowls of the Strozzapretti. Don’t miss the Banana Panna Cotta .
Small but cozy restaurant with a tasteful selections of rare beers . The burrata is a good starter for the mushroom gnocchis
Best pasta in boston agnolotti with lobster and polenta with lamb Ragu are good choices- polenta was so creamy it tasted like creamed corn
You have to have the Spicy Tomato Soup , no matter how hot it is outside. It is amazing. Ditto the Tagliatelle (with a bolognese ). Service is excellent.
Don't miss their pasta - Barbara Lynch never mess around with any of the dishes served here! 😁 a nice place for a weekdays dinner with your coworkers or closer ones.
Lunch , dinner and weekend brunch are served on a diner-like counter. Doubles as a bakery with early-morning hours. [Eater 38 Member]
Looks like a space age diner , white and shiny, with U-shaped counters and stools. But tastes like a fine Italian cafe , with dishes such as ricotta gnudi and strozzapreti with rabbit and green olives . Read more
What can we say? Freshly made bakery treats (piña colada cupcakes - incredible) and pasta (there's gnocchi to write home about), plus $10 lunch boxes make this a Fort Point favorite.
Love the tagliatelle w/ bolognese . It's my favorite lunch ! Reasonable priced and just the right amount of food! And cupcakes are the best dessert after, especially the cookies and cream one :)

Space-age decor and delicious Italian food is what you'll find here. Very unique but very cool and always on point.
The Strozzapreti was the best pasta dish I've had in Boston. 4 ingredients and all are balanced, yet highlighted to perfection.
One of my favorite places in Boston. Great food, great staff . You can't go wrong here.
The gnocchi is outrageous. Little bit of truffle oil = magical. The tagliatelle also to die for. Split the two dishes between friends. Nom nom.
Friendliest staff ! So accommodating and happy to have our 2 year old watch them cook in the open kitchen .
Rabbit pasta was unreal. Also, best tomato soup in the city .
Fantastic cuisine. Excellent service . Nice place. Beautiful people. Thy it. Price in line with Boston
Any pasta will hit the spot, but believe me when I say don't leave without the coconut cake !!!!! 😛
Love the upscale diner-like setup, delicious brunch ! Another Barbara Lynch success. If only Menton can be improved...
fettuccine alla putanesca. YUM! a bit expensive but totally worth it. nice place, service ok.
Celery root ravioli with lobster and nuts . Casual , designer Italian diner . Great food. Macho waiter .
Ordering experience for "box" lunch was awesome and efficient. Great chicken salad (with Greek yogurt instead of mayo ).
Get the tagliatelle , you won't regret it. (Pastas also available as half portions)
Great meal. Loved the tomato soup and the coconut cake
While it might seem odd its all about the amazing Spicy Tomato soup here
Flavorful oil with bread and the dish of green salad with pea was a sonata for the season. Yet, the space looked dirty — stained chairs, damaged tables — a canteen vibe.
Very tasty Italian. Rabbit pasta . Bolognese sauce . Also coconut cake .
Cool atmosphere. Pricy dishes, but totally worth it! The gnocchi is to die for.
As you would expect in a Lynch restaurant , pastas are expertly prepared. Wheaty, briny, slightly pungent, and rich, the bigoli with clams , sea urchin , and bottarga is the most complex of the bunch.
The tagliatelle bolognese is always excellent; nice to see the classics done well . And oh, the desserts at the bakery ! Try the salty olive and chocolate torte , it's way delish
Polish off a bowl of Bolognese at Barbara Lynch 's counter-style Italian spot and finish off the meal by heading downstairs for a stiff cocktail from Drink. Read more
Tell them you are taking the train , they will give you a goodie bag for the ride! Awesome place!
The pancake here looks amazing. Bring at least three hungry friends with which to share it.
Get the strozzapreti : delicious homemade pasta with braised rabbit and olives .
Loved the tagliatelle Bolognese .
Spicy tomato soup , Ravioli with sweetbreads great vibe
Good place for a late night dessert ; the Chai Custard is excellent!
Get half orders so that you can enjoy even more deliciousness throughout one meal.
Loooooooved the food and the service! Will definitely come again
Lovely Italian restaurant with an attentive waiter but the food was lacking. Maybe I'm just spoiled from my family's food but normally Boston Italian is more impressive than this.
Best tagliatelle ever. You won't regret ordering this divine dish.
Squid ink cavatelli , to die for. And the braised rabbit strozzapreti - yum! :-) Everything's great.
Octopus work pickled peppers and squid ink soaked couscous with mint. YUM. - Alix Ito
I ate dinner with 4 collegues last night. Delicious small plates (shared) and Lobster Risotto. Fantastic food, wine, and wonderful service by hip young people. This place always pleases. - Jeffrey Currier
This place is ridiculously good. The breakfast sandwich with ham is to die for and the sticky buns are a must. - Martha Kloko
The building is amazing. Interesting exhibitions. Took the free tour on free Thursday evening. Was interesting and made the gist to the museum even better. - Lishay Shechter
