The ongoing prehispanic gold collection is such a rare experience. The displays are well-done; the video elucidates prehispanic arts and crafts in the Philippines in a way never done before.
Well maintained museum with good exhibits comparable to galleries in southeast asia . They also have a well maintained Library .
The diorama exhibit about the history of the Philippines is in my opinion the highlight of the museum . Each diorama depicts the life of our anscestors. It's historically enriching!
Must see if you are visiting from abroad. Great way to learn about the history of the Philippine Islands .
If you have just half a day for history and want to lean about the Philippines go here. Really nice museum , very beautiful
I always drop by in here every Sunday fr church . I visit the free art exhibit @ the ground flr facing the entrance in Greenbelt 5 beside Tous Le Jour. I even met the artists in person.
21st Century art at its finest! Check out new artists & their works in ArtistSpace! Special exhibits ranging from photography to almost everything 'bout art . All here at @ayalamuseum!
Take an afternoon and grab the audio tour for the resident exhibit . History buffs are gonna love it. A great intro to Philippine history.
Start at the diorama and make your way to the top floor. Make a brief stop at the 4th floor where the gold collection is located.
Best place to bring a foreigner or balikbayan friend to give an overview about the Philippines. Don't forget to check out the Gold collection at the 4th floor.
Viewing some of the paintings is actually quite boring, but the dioramas are something to look at! Spent an hour on that floor observing the amazing details on every artwork.
Very impressive exhibits , great deal of history to learn and you've got to love the diorama!
One of the museums that is worth the visit in Manila.
Make sure to open the drawers in the Gold exhibit . Get to see the details of the designs using the magnifying glass .

Great museum , sayang lang di pwedeng mag picture. Check out the gold collection , it's exquisite!
Very classy ! I love their collection of indigenous artefacts!
Great introduction to Filipino history with the 2nd floor diorama exhibit
Not impressed. The level on the history of the Philippines doesn't really give a full picture as it's all little pieces and jumps in time, adding important people of that area without background.
audio tour and see the dioramas.. if you're touring a visitor from abroad this is a nice intro to the country but feel free to skip some boring ones coz there are actually around 50+ of them!
an educational place to go to .. see the Gold of Our Ancestors & The Diorama Experience .. more... but sorry you cant use your cam inside the museum .
Jackfruit Sansrival paired with your favorite afternoon. Simply the best!
Don't just look around..watch, read, hear and understand. Don't spoil other people's visit by bringin pesky children who can't appreciate the exhibit or by talking too loud .
Ask to go up to the book shop for some nice pasalubong
222 entrance fee is worth it. Find time to use the magnifying glasses installed in the gold area to see the gold pieces up close
Make sure to get the audio guide and check out Icaro by Fernando Zobel .
