They have amazing private rooms upstairs and a lovely cocktail bar . Good food and drinks, not so much the pastries .
Such cheap soda and lime . (I no longer drink so finding this place with a 85p soda and lime is my dream.) Staff are friendly and not too busy. Love it.
The Breaded Brie is to die for (as in you'll probably die from eating deep-fried cheese ) but it's worth it!
Pretty much what you'd expect a Gastropub to be. Really good scotch eggs , and a very solid, if not spectacular, Sunday Roast .
Great space downstairs, although the staff won't be able to memorise that massive book of cocktails ...
Fantastic selection of ales .
Nice spacious pub with great selection of beers .
Great outdoor space and a cocktail bar open a bit later than the pub downstairs
Pretty average food, down to earth, not modern or hip but reliable. Coffee is not artisinal and feels like the 90's in style of food and drinks. However, good back to basics spot when you need it.
Staff , outside space , meeting rooms upstairs, ale selection
Super great spot. Good food. Nice staff . +10
Fantastic selection of ales on tap ! Busy as on a Friday though...
British tapas was great! Friendly staff , good food, decent selection of beers .
Large portions of reasonably priced, reasonable quality pub grub. Friendly staff .
What a cool hangout! I need to investigate the downstairs speakeasy . Great Sunday roast .
Worth straying off the beaten path; a hidden gem of a gastropub . Excellent hollandaise-based breakfasts waiting to ruin a perfectly balanced diet.
Sunday lunch : good portions and very reasonable for London. Would recommend!
Bit of a local for the British Library staff . It's a pretty decent place, most remarkable for its unlikely location, but perhaps not the treasure that some make it out to be.
There's some nice seating in the back garden too.
Good well looked after selection of cask ales . Food is good but bit pricey for tapas . Plated mains are good.
Their soda and lime is only 85p. Smashing!
Comfortable and not packed place
Great for private parties.
Food. Price. Atmosphere.
A very decent roast (a healthy slab of pork , very good gravy )
Order double rounds or you'll be waiting ages for a drink. Yawn.
Cracking shared platter on the bar menu. Home made foie gras , pate , chutney - awesome.
Great English tapas . Beer ok.
Sunday roast and Pimms no 1
Really decent small plates
Nice little pub in middle of king's x
Great food and nice atmosphere, service haphazard! Would eat here again...
Feels like I'm at a British theme pub abroad
Great pub but terrible service. Double up on your drink order.
Sunday roast 😍
Ok pub but standard products at a high price. 3 drink round likely to be £17-£18
The bearded woman from C4's Embarrassing Bodies drinks here!
A little hidden gem of NW1
Free beer with flyer this week
Have a Sunday roast
Dodgy place. They took my credit card after I ordered and promised to give it back just before I paid. The food was good though.
Used to be a great pub , needs to up it's game. Service slow and sloppy
The burger is okay but a little overpriced.
Awful service, great food.....
One of the male waiters is a pompus dooche bag - this is y I don't go here.
Awful service, but the food is good.
It doesn't qualify as a 'speakeasy' if there are giant signs pointing the way. Smells of toilet in the bar. No cocktails of their own - just the standard espresso martini, old fashioned, etc. - Lauren Keith
Excellent Ale and enjoying making my own Bloody Mary. Hot dog lunchtime snack was fabulous and great value. Love this place!! - Sam Lane
lovely interior, the beer is okay, often live music upstairs - Anke vdW
Fantastic cooking!, scotch eggs, charcuterie...actually, all immaculate. MUST Visit! - Paul Wong
Wow! Finally a decent pint near Euston, and at a reasonable price! - blokeinthekitchen
