I'm not sure if there's another way to get to the beach but that was quite a hike , up a couple of steep, sandy dunes. Unexpected, but good work out. Dog friendly beach .
The hike to the lake is steep so be prepared for you, pets , kids, etc. with appropriate shoes , drinking water, snacks , umbrellas... The beach view is worth it but is a challenge and the sand gets HOT.
Love to hike here beautiful wooded area and beaches if you don't mind a hike . My favorites place to get away.
Bring bug spray for flies, etc.
Nice atmosphere Casual dress code Coronas and sunblock make excellent accessories .
Love the trails for running during the early spring!
if you're going fishing here after spawning season it's best to be on a boat. the shore is over fished.
I love the ride thru michgan
I wish the ride wasn't so bumpy!
Disgusting bathroom and a long difficult trek to the beach
Absolutely gorgeous state park. I love the combination of forest, sand dunes, and the lake. The sand dune is a little hard to hike up but we’ll worth it for the view! - Michael Morgan
Wonderful, quiet beach! My dogs love it and its nice and clean! - Jamilynn Aleice
It's a nice place to picnic. All the trees give awesome shading. They have a playground for the kiddos. U can cook out. There's also a pavilion n public bathrooms (didn't check those out) - Yolanda Reygaert
